The Democrats are filibustering Neil Gorsuch. It was announced today that they have sufficient numbers to block a final vote under the current rules. So far, just two Senate Democrats have agreed to vote for Gorsuch: Senators Manchin (WV) and Heitkamp (ND). They’re up for re-election in 2018 in states that Trump won in landslides. Three Democrats if you count John McCain...

The rest of the Democrats are promising to filibuster Gorsuch and prevent him from taking the bench.

Yesterday, the Senate voted 51-50 to pass a resolution overturning an Obama-era regulation to give Planned Parenthood more funding. We made this a signature issue over the past few weeks and want to thank you for your support in making this happen.

But I bring up the 51-50 vote to show just how close the margin is. Vice President Pence had to come in and cast the deciding vote because two Republicans – Sen. Susan Collins (ME) and Lisa Murkowski (AK) – decided to vote with Democrats.

We have learned that the reason Mitch McConnell has not invoked the Nuclear Option to confirm Judge Gorsuch is because he is unsure whether he has the votes. He is unsure whether Republicans in Congress will be willing to do everything necessary to put a Conservative onto the Supreme Court. Isn’t that pathetic?

Send your message to Congress and force them to use the nuclear option now to confirm Judge Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court!

For the past year, we have fought to make sure that RINOs in Congress didn’t get away with confirming Barack Obama’s Supreme Court nominee. We wanted the American people to at least have a say in the matter and boy, did they. There were Republican Senators like Collins, Murkoswki, and Flake (AZ) who were pushing to put a liberal onto the Supreme Court.

With your help, we put a stop to their plot. But defeating Hillary Clinton was just the beginning, not the end of our fight. Obama and his allies spent 8 years fundamentally transforming this country. Those allies were in both parties. We aren’t going to be able take this country back in just a few months.

This is why we fight. This is why we wake up every morning and hold Congress accountable to their oaths and constituents.

Now that we are getting word that even Republicans are thinking of siding with Democrats and letting them filibuster Neil Gorsuch, action is more important than ever before. There are Republicans who would rather leave the seat empty than fill it with a conservative constitutionalist.

Yesterday, the Trump administration officially appealed the Hawaii Judge’s injunction against their travel ban executive order. That means it is just days away from reaching the Supreme Court.

There are Republicans who would rather leave the seat vacant, or fill it with a liberal, than do everything in their power to confirm a true conservative. This is absolutely shameful.

And these turncoats must be shamed. They must be made to realize the price they will pay if they go down this path.

Tell Congress that there will be serious consequences if they don’t use the nuclear option to confirm Judge Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court!
