The pressure that you and likeminded Conservatives have been putting on Congress is finally working.
Yesterday, Senators Chuck Grassley (R-IA), Lindsey Graham (R-SC), John Cornyn (R-TX) and Thom Tillis (R-NC) sent the Department of Justice a letter demanding that a second Special Counsel be appointed to prosecute crimes committed by Hillary Clinton and members of the Obama administration.
For years, we have been demanding this. Real justice for the crimes committed by the previous administration.
Jeff Sessions announced a few weeks ago that he was giving the DOJ's Office of Inspector General the investigation into all of these crimes. Immediately, President Trump and Conservatives in Congress began pushing back, arguing that the Inspector General has no prosecutorial power and cannot compel witnesses that are no longer FBI/DOJ employees to appear before him.
We POUNDED Congress with close to two million FaxBlasts. Together, we made the issue unavoidable by flooding Congressional offices with faxes demanding that a second Special Prosecutor be appointed to look into all of this -- Uranium One, the handling of the Hillary email investigation, FISA abuse, the witch hunt against the Trump campaign, and general corruption within Obama's DOJ and FBI.
This started as a conservative push. Now, we have members of the GOP leadership demanding it as well!
It's time to push this across the finish line!
We have a chance, right now, to force the appointment of a special prosecutor to go after Hillary and the Obama administration. The crimes they committed are literally piling up.
Jeff Sessions didn't want to appoint a special counsel. But even he is now caving. Word is that the DOJ is looking to fire former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe. He is on "terminal leave" right now. Basically, he amassed so many vacation days that he was able to go on vacation all the way up to his retirement day.
We're hearing that McCabe will be fired less than 48 hours before his 1.8 million government pension goes into effect. Why? Because he lied to the inspector general and put his finger on the scale to protect Hillary Clinton. As you remember, McCabe is the one who coordinated with Peter Strzok to launch the witch hunt against Trump as an "insurance policy" in case he won...
The minute he is fired or allowed to retire, the Inspector General can no longer touch him. And the IG's report apparently goes into great detail explaining all of the crimes that Andrew McCabe committed under James Comey.
All of this is coming to a head right now.
We have members of Congress -- both Conservative and Establishment -- now demanding a Special Prosecutor and we have Attorney General Jeff Sessions actually moving forward with punishing these criminals.
Now is the time to strike! Now is the time to force ALL of Congress to demand a second Special Prosecutor!
