Fellow Conservative,

One of President Trump’s first executive orders was to end an Obama policy known as “catch and release.”

For years, when an illegal alien was apprehended in the border region, they would be given a “notice to appear” in court and then be allowed to disappear into American society.

Not surprisingly, more than 97% of these illegal aliens skipped their court hearings.

Trump ordered Border Patrol to stop the practice. Most of them were happy to implement the change. But there are still some sectors that are aiding and abetting illegal aliens.

Trump is dealing with this across government: Obama administration holdovers who are committed to resisting the new President’s orders.

Some Republican Congressmen and Senators are already starting to back away from supporting a border wall. Their main argument is that there are areas that can be secured through more regular patrols.

They believe that the substitute for a wall is to give more responsibility to the very agents who are now refusing to enforce our immigration laws.

It’s time to build the wall.

Draw your line in the sand! Tell Congress you will remove from office anyone who votes against Donald Trump’s border security plan!

We already have Republicans walking back their support.

They’re talking about building a fence instead of a wall. They’re proposing leaving hundreds of miles of empty border and relying on cameras and sensors to catch illegal border crossers. Some Democrats are even arguing that the border is already secure.

Basically, they want the status quo. They want the border to stay open and for border patrol agents to be able to exercise discretion in enforcing our immigration laws.

They applaud the rogue border patrol agents who are still releasing illegal aliens.

No.

One word: wall.

Draw your line in the sand! Tell Congress you will remove from office anyone who votes against Donald Trump’s border security plan!

For the past two years, the Republican leadership criticized Trump’s call for more border security.

Paul Ryan is on record saying that a border wall will never be built. Mitch McConnell didn’t go quite that far, but his opposition to the wall was clear.

Now these are the men who are being trusted with approving a border wall…

Since 2010, Republicans in Congress have voted to repeal Obamacare dozens of times, with at least six different versions of the legislation. Now that they have the power to succeed, all of a sudden they don't have a plan to put forward.

They cannot be trusted to follow through on anything.

It only takes two turncoat Republicans to defect and the wall won't get built. That is how close this is.

It is up to YOU to hold their feet to the fire!

Draw your line in the sand! Tell Congress you will remove from office anyone who votes against Donald Trump’s border security plan!

Sincerely,

Joe Otto
