When Trump made the accusation last year that Obama had wiretapped Trump Tower, the media laughed. Surely a sitting President would not spy on his political opponent.
As the weeks passed, more evidence came to light proving Trump right. Now, this investigation has been blown wide open.
Congressman Mark Meadows (R-NC) is blowing the whistle on new evidence he has uncovered showing that the Obama White House did in fact draft the legal actions the Justice Department used to spy on the Trump campaign.
"The text messages that I've had the privilege of reviewing and some of the other correlating information which strongly suggests that there was not only information given to the White House, but indeed they were involved in drafting some of the action of the Department of Justice and FBI in the Fall of 2016," Meadows said.
This truly is a bombshell.
We've suspected for a while that the Obama White House had to have been involved. The FBI simply can't spy on a political candidate without the White House at least being notified. But now we know that the Obama White House actually collaborated in it.
What did Obama know? Everything. When did Obama know it? The whole time.
Hours before Trump was sworn in, Susan Rice emailed herself "notes" saying that the President ordered the FBI to investigate Trump "by the book." Now we know why. Because there was nothing "by the book" about this.
The GOP establishment is ordering Rep. Meadows to hand over this evidence to the DOJ's Inspector General. That's because they know the IG doesn't have the power to prosecute anyone. If they send it to him, it won't go anywhere. It will die.
Congress MUST take the lead on this!
The GOP establishment wants to sweep this under the rug. They are terrified of actually having to hold the Obama administration accountable for these crimes.
Just think about this. A sitting member of Congress found evidence that the Obama White House was involved in drafting surveillance orders against their political opponent, and the Republican leadership doesn't want to touch it. They want to give the investigation to the same FBI and DOJ agents who participated in the illegal surveillance and cover up!
Yea, that's not going to work...
We have suspected that the Deep State actions against Donald Trump's campaign reached into the White House. Now we KNOW that the Obama White House was involved!
Rep. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) is demanding a full investigation, not just in the DOJ, but in Congress as well!
