This is not a drill. We are now just 48-72 hours away from the GOP caving and confirming Loretta Lynch as the next Attorney General.
That’s right, we are this close to having another radical confirmed as Attorney General.
There are five Republican Senators who have turned their back on the Conservative movement and promised to vote for Loretta Lynch anyway. Senators Susan Collins (R-ME), Jeff Flake (R-AZ), Lindsey Graham (R-SC), Orrin Hatch (R-UT), and Mark Kirk (R-IL) have all pledged to vote for this radical Attorney General. Those five votes are enough to push her over the top!
Here’s where it gets truly treacherous: the vote hasn’t been put on the schedule yet. This is the GOP’s way of keeping you in the dark and making it harder for you to stop it.
But a few brave Senators have spoken off the record and leaked that a vote could be as close as 48 hours away!
Party leadership doesn’t want you to know about this. Oops… I just told you. Now it’s time to put a stop to this once and for all!
It is simple. In the House of Representatives, there is an unwritten rule called the Hastert Rule. It says that if the majority of the Majority disagrees with a piece of legislation, it should not be put up for a vote.
The logic is simple: a minority of turncoat legislators should not be allowed to join the other side and get horrible legislation passed.
Harry Reid brought this rule to the Senate over the past few years and prevented Conservative legislation from coming to a vote if he feared there were enough Democrats on board to get it passed.
Here is Loretta Lynch’s nomination by the numbers: 91% of the Republican Party – at least in the Senate – is against this woman’s confirmation. Under the Hastert Rule, there is absolutely no reason this woman should ever get a vote. She is simply too polarizing of a figure.
I know that calling these Senators “traitors” might seem harsh, but it is completely fitting. These 5+ Senators are traitors to their ideology. No Conservative could ever vote for such a Liberal nominee.
They are traitors to their party. When 91% of your party is against a nominee, you aren’t supposed to join the other side.
And yes, they are traitors to their country if they push to get this woman confirmed. The Constitution and the Law are both too important to allow such a radical to ride roughshod over them!
When Bill Clinton was a lame duck President, Congress pressed back and forced him to move towards the middle to govern. Bill "Slick Willy" Clinton's impeachment was just a small part of this.
It is a time honored American tradition for lame duck Presidents to move towards the middle when they lose control of Congress. That's how things get done.
But Obama isn't doing that. He is shoving his radical Leftist agenda down the country's throat and instead of stopping him like the GOP promised, they are surrendering.
It's simple: Loretta Lynch supports amnesty for illegal aliens, gun control and bans on commonly owned semi-automatic firearms, leniency for big banks caught committing crimes, civil asset forfeiture (seizing citizens' assets without charging them with a crime)... The list literally goes on and on.
Loretta Lynch refuses to respond to how she would deal with Hillary Clinton's missing emails as well.
We have seen what the Eric Holder era at the DOJ brought us. We cannot afford to coronate this radical as the country's top law enforcement agent!
Usually, the GOP leadership keeps us in the dark as long as possible. The last thing they want is brave patriots like you flooding their fax machines, phone lines, and email inboxes just before they’re about to sell YOU out.
We still don’t know when this vote will be held, but we know for a fact that leadership plans to hold Loretta Lynch’s confirmation vote sometime in the next 48-72 hours.
The last year and a half of the Obama Presidency is not something to be laughed at. The last thing we need is an Attorney General acting as a rubber stamp for this President’s lawless policies.
Together, we have sent hundreds of thousands of faxes demanding that Congress halt this radical’s confirmation process. It is working! More and more Republicans are calling for Mitch McConnell and the GOP leadership to hold off on voting all together.
You did this. You held Congress’ feet to the fire and forced these rational legislators to push back.
The Founding Fathers left you with a solemn responsibility to defend the Republic against all enemies, both foreign and domestic. That starts with raising your voice right now.
Now is the time to finish this. Now is the time for one last push to make sure that Loretta Lynch is NEVER confirmed as Attorney General!
