Yesterday’s Supreme Court ruling should be a shot across the bow for all freedom loving Conservatives.
The Supreme Court had the chance to permanently kill Barack Obama’s illegal immigrant amnesty program, but Justice Scalia’s passing left the court in a 4-4 tie.
If Barack Obama had gotten his nominee, Judge Merrick Garland, onto the bench, then this amnesty would have been approved.
That is how close we came. If the RINOs in Congress had succeeded in forcing Obama’s nominee through, this case would have been the first liberal Supreme Court of many.
We’re on a razor’s edge. What is absolutely shocking is that after this 4-4 tie, we are hearing that RINOs and Leftists are still pushing to hold a confirmation vote for this radical judge.
The next judge added to the bench will change the balance of the Supreme Court for generations and these Turncoat Republicans want to confirm Obama’s radical nominee!
The number has not changed. Right now, if every turncoat Republican who has said they are open to voting for Garland actually did, he would be added to the Supreme Court.
Senator Jeff Flake (R-AZ) was the most recent Republican to come out and say that Garland was a judge of “great accomplishment and intellect.” He also said that he would be comfortable voting for his confirmation.
Great accomplishment? What was great? Was it Garland’s support of allowing the government to keep a registry of gun owners in violation of the law (NRA v Reno)? Or maybe it was his decision against the 1st Amendment’s free speech protections (Wagner v FEC)? Or perhaps it was his vote against re-hearing Seegars v Gonzales, proving that he does not believe the 2nd Amendment should protect an individual right to keep and bear arms.
Do you know what? Maybe Jeff Flake and these other RINOs are referring to Rancho Viejo, LLC v. Norton, where Garland ruled that if a corporation purchases land and plans to develop it, the government can come in and stop the entire project for its environmental impact.
This week’s immigration ruling at the Supreme Court proves it.
If we allow this legislate-from-the-bench Leftist to be confirmed, we will likely never see another Conservative Supreme Court victory in our lifetime….
The Democrats have all the votes they need. We have now surpassed the 16 GOP votes necessary to push this radical nominee through on their own. They are threatening to force a vote.
There is already talk in Washington of just holding hearings and a confirmation vote to see what happens.
It is up to YOU to make sure these Congressmen and Senators know that is unacceptable!
Revocation of gun rights, open season for voter fraud, amnesty for illegal aliens… this all happens if Obama gets his Supreme Court nominee onto the bench.
Our Founding Fathers believed that liberty was always vulnerable. “The price of liberty is eternal vigilance,” they said.
The Founders believed that every generation would face a moment when liberty would need to be defended, when brave Patriots would be called to arms.
This is the moment we’ve been waiting for!
Merrick Garland will rewrite the First and Second Amendments and do untold damage by legislating from the bench and destroying the separation of powers.
Don’t let the Republicans surrender!
