It is amazing how prospects can change on Capitol Hill in just a matter of hours.
When we published our article and call to action yesterday detailing Obama’s last-ditch radical refugee push, there was breaking news about a “mass shooting” at Ohio State University.
Democrats took to Twitter and the airwaves blaming firearms and demanding more gun control. But like usual, they played politics with a tragedy before all the facts were known.
When the dust settled, it was revealed that the only shooting on campus was when OSU Officer Alan Horujko shot and killed the attacker, just one minute into his spree. Since the mainstream media got this so horribly wrong, we are going to correct the record.
No, Abdul Razak Ali Artan was not a mass shooter. He injured at least 11 people on a rampage that included running people over in his car and then jumping out to stab them with a butcher knife.
No, his intentions are not a “mystery.” He was profiled in one of his school’s paper were he complained about there not being enough accommodations for Muslims and complained about anti-Muslim sentiment.
And no, we were not helpless to stop this. Abdul Artan was a Somali Muslim refugee admitted into the United States in 2014 from Pakistan. He came into the country at the beginning of Barack Obama’s “No-Questions-Asked” refugee program. If Congress had done its job, he wouldn't have been here.
This was completely avoidable. Since 9/11, more than 98,799 Somali refugees have been resettled into the United States. Most of these came under Barack Obama’s “leadership.” Last month alone, Obama brought in 1,352 Somali refugees without even vetting them. There is no telling how many more he could bring in over the next 51 days…
This has to stop!
I don’t want to be right on this. Honestly, I wish I was wrong. We here at Conservative Daily take no pleasure in the fact that Obama’s refugee program continues to claim American victims. But the facts speak for themselves.
This attack at Ohio State University was perpetrated by a disgruntled Somali refugee. The attack in a St. Cloud, Minnesota shopping mall last month – where the terrorist asked people to state their religion and then stabbed anyone who said they were Christian – was also carried out a Somali refugee on behalf of ISIS. In the past year, nine Somali refugees have been charged with terrorism crimes. That is just a single country of origin...
This is what Barack Obama’s unvetted refugee policy looks like.
When we launched our campaign yesterday, the issue of Obama’s last-minute refugee push wasn’t even on Congress’ radar. But after sending close to 100,000 faxes yesterday alone, all of a sudden Congress is now interested in defunding Obama’s refugee program.
This is all thanks to you!
Now, it is time to bring this across the finish line.
The scene yesterday at OSU is what unvetted refugee admissions looks like. Obama brought the Somali terrorist into the United States from Pakistan in 2014. His administration’s decision to admit this terrorist, without a full background check, led to 11 people going to the hospital yesterday, one of whom was in critical condition.
It doesn’t have to be this way…
But Obama is doubling down. He knows his days are numbered (51 days, to be exact) so he is going to bring as many additional refugees into the United States as possible in the time he has left.
If Congress doesn’t shut down this program, yesterday will be just the beginning. It is up to all of us to pressure Congress into attaching the American SAFE Act to this week’s funding bill and finally put an end to unvetted refugee admission once and for all!
