Fellow Conservatives,
The GOP establishment would rather lose elections and live under a liberal agenda than win and have to govern conservatively.
Take Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell, for example. Paul Ryan used every opportunity during the campaign to try to help Hillary Clinton win. Mitch McConnell recently admitted that he never thought Trump would win and he withheld his support because of that.
Now that Trump is 20 days away from taking the oath of office, the Turncoat Republicans are out of excuses.
They can’t blame their inaction on being in the minority. Republicans will control both chambers of Congress, the White House, and soon the Supreme Court. There are no more excuses.
And yet, as you read this, so-called-conservatives are teaming up with Democrats to cement Obama’s agenda!
Take immigration as an example. Donald Trump ran on a campaign promise of building a border wall, deporting illegal alien criminals, and ending Obama’s amnesty. Really simple. Deportations and a border wall are mandated by law and the GOP is currently suing the White House, claiming that the amnesty is unconstitutional. Seems like there should be common ground here, right?
Instead of enacting the agenda that the American people voted for, these Turncoat Republicans are doing the opposite.
Senator Jeff Flake (R-AZ) has teamed up with the devil herself, Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA), and introduced a border bill that would make Barack Obama’s amnesty executive orders permanent. The legislation also expressly prohibits funds being used for a border wall…
On the refugee issue, Paul Ryan and Co. have successfully funded the remainder of Obama’s refugee goals. Between the Election and the Inauguration, Obama will have brought in more than 10,000 refugees, all because Republicans gave him the green light.
Ryan squashed the effort to impeach Barack Obama’s criminal IRS Commissioner, singlehandedly preventing an impeachment vote and leaving him at his post until November 2017 so he can continue to target Conservatives.
And even though the House voted 240-179 to give Congress the power to undo Obama’s executive orders and regulations with one vote, the legislation has been dead-on-arrival at McConnell’s Senate.
Mitch McConnell has also personally declared that the Senate will never vote on term limit legislation. Spoken like only a 36-year Senator could...
You’d have to go back all the way to the 1980’s to find a time that was more promising for conservatism. In 2017, we will have the power to truly take this country back… but not with the “leadership” we have now!
It has only been 2 months since Donald Trump was elected and the GOP leadership has proven they are unwilling to enact a Conservative agenda.
Paul Ryan has been surrendering at a record pace and Mitch McConnell hasn’t been much better.
If we want to “Drain the Swamp,” we need to start with the GOP leadership. Instead of trying to win, Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan spent the last year preparing to lose. Now that they have the power, they can’t help but push the Democrats’ agenda…
While Ryan and McConnell are the favorites to win the leadership posts, the vote hasn't happened yet. The new Congress gets sworn in this week and it only takes a dozen or so defections to deny these RINOs the power they so desperately want.
We have the chance, right now, to kick these liberal Republicans to the curb once and for all!
Take action!
Sincerely,
Joe Otto
