Let’s recap what happened yesterday. A pipe bomb went off in New Jersey along the route for a Marine charity foot race in New Jersey. Law enforcement found other devices connected to the original that did not detonate.
A bomb went off in New York, injuring 29 people. This explosion was determined to be intentional and after denying a connection to terrorism last night, New York Governor Andre Cuomo (D) confirmed that they were treating this as an act of terror.
Police discovered a second device four blocks away from the New York City explosion, which is being described as a pressure cooker improvised device similar to the bomb that went off at the Boston Marathon in 2013.
Then, late last night, a man walked into a mall in St. Cloud, Minnesota wearing a ‘private security uniform’ and, after asking people whether they were Muslim or not, stabbed eight people. An off duty police officer shot and killed the attacker with his concealed weapon.
Today, law enforcement is left trying to pick up the pieces and figure out what exactly happened in these three incidents.
But one thing is absolutely clear: These are the kind of threats we will face if Obama gets his way and brings even more unvetted Middle Eastern refugees to the United States.

I want to be clear, information is still being released in these three separate attacks. We will no more as the day goes on.
The bomb that went off in New Jersey was placed along the route of the Semper Five 5k Charity Run, a race held to raise money for wounded Marines. This was an attack on our veteran community.
After denying it last night, officials are finally admitting that the New York City bombing last night was “obviously an act of terrorism.”
And we are receiving preliminary reports that ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attack in Minnesota, claiming that a “soldier of the Islamic State” carried out an attack against the “crusader coalition.”
When are we going to wake up?
It is not a coincidence that more ISIS terrorists come out of Minnesota than any other state. At least 26% of all Americans who try to leave the country to join ISIS come from Minnesota. The state with the second-most recruits? New York…
Minnesota has the country’s largest Somali refugee population. It seems that every month, we hear about another Somali refugee, or child of a refugee, who has been arrested for terrorism.
Somalia, like Syria, is what is known as a “failed state.” There is no central government in control of the entire country. This is an important distinction, especially when it comes to vetting refugees coming into the country.
The United States doesn’t have files on all 7+ billion people on earth. When a refugee applies for asylum in the United States, our ability to vet that person is limited by the information we can collect from their country of origin.
With warlords controlling much of the territory in Somalia, for example, it is impossible to verify people’s intentions and identities. The same applies for Syria. ISIS controls many of the country’s passport offices. We are actively trying to overthrow the Assad regime. Neither are willing to help us weed-out terrorists from the refugee populations.
Next year, Obama has announced that he will increase the number of refugees coming into the United States by 30%, bringing the total up to 110,000. The White House has said that yesterday's attacks will not change the President's commitment to bring as many unvetted refugees here as possible.
What happened yesterday will be just the beginning if Obama is allowed to do this!

Late last year, Congress passed a piece of legislation known as the American Safety Against Foreign Enemies (SAFE) Act.
The legislation attaches two requirements to our country’s refugee program:
(1) A full background check must be done on each refugee.
(2) The FBI, Department of Homeland Security, and the Director of National Intelligence must unanimously agree that the refugee poses no threat to the United States.
This legislation is so common sense that it passed the House of Representatives with a bipartisan, veto-proof majority.
When it reached the Senate, Harry Reid (D-NV) filibustered and killed the bill. How anyone could be against vetting Middle Eastern refugees is beyond me.
The GOP is using the filibuster as an excuse to move onto other topics. They don’t want you to know that they have the power to send this to Obama’s desk right now.
When the House and Senate disagree on a piece of legislation, they can send the bill to what is called “reconciliation.” Here, negotiators from both chambers work to resolve their differences and get the bill passed.
When reconciliation is invoked, it is impossible to filibuster the bill. The legislation can pass the Senate with a simple majority.
Right now, Republicans in Congress have the power to pass the American SAFE Act. They have the power to force Obama to decide between protecting the American people or continuing to play politics.
The only reason they haven’t done this is because their constituents aren’t demanding it.
That changes today!
