The Obama administration is gearing up to release even more detained terrorists from the detention facility in Guantanamo Bay.

I understand this is a contentious issue on both sides of the aisle. I understand that civil rights issues may be at play.

But how the Obama administration is releasing these terrorists is irresponsible and dangerous.

News of these upcoming releases comes after self-proclaimed Al-Qaeda Yemen fighters attacked a French magazine office because it published cartoons depicting the Prophet Mohammad. These terrorists murdered 12 people.

When the cartoons were published in 2012, then-White House Press Secretary Jay Carney actually went out of his way to denounce the magazine’s actions. “We are aware that a French magazine published cartoons featuring a figure resembling the prophet Muhammad, and obviously we have questions about the judgment of publishing something like this,” Carney told reporters during a briefing at the White House. “We know these images will be deeply offensive to many and have the potential to be inflammatory.” Nothing but pandering to the enemy...

Now, the White House is playing a different tune, denouncing the attack in Paris. I’m sure that the administration is sincere in denouncing this attack, but that doesn’t mean that we should just forget about how the White House, time and time again, only seems to embolden our enemies.

The men who attacked the Parisian magazine office told passersby that they were members of Al-Qaeda in Yemen. For years, the Obama administration has released and transferred Guantanamo terrorists to Yemen with little, if any, strings attached.

The truth is that if Obama is allowed to continue releasing these dangerous terrorists, attacks like the one in Paris will only become a lot more common!

Tell the Republican-controlled Congress to finally STOP Obama from releasing captured terrorists!

In the last batch of released terrorists was a man named Mohammed Zahir. We told you about this release a few weeks ago.

The administration announced that this man had been cleared for release, suggesting that he had done nothing wrong and that his release would be risk-free.





Well, buried in pages and pages of leaked DOD documents is the explanation for why Zahir was captured and detained in the first place.





When soldiers apprehended Mohammed Zahir, they caught him in possession of multiple Soviet-era sealed cans labeled (in Russian) “Heavy Water U235 150 grams.”





That’s Uranium. This terrorist was caught trafficking Uranium and Obama just let him go. Of course, this shouldn’t be public knowledge. We were never supposed to know that a nuclear terrorist was being held in Guantanamo. That’s the kind of information that is supposed to stay classified. But every Guantanamo detainee’s records have been published online by Wikileaks.


 

If this information weren’t available, we never would have learned how treacherous these terrorist transfers are!





Barack Obama released a nuclear terrorist. That is undeniable. The President is more interested in fulfilling a campaign promise than protecting the world from nuclear weapons traffickers…





Mohammed Zahir was the Secretary General of the Taliban’s Intelligence Directorate and was with documentation proving he was trying to use the Uranium to create a bomb. Now, he is back in Afghanistan with no strings attached.

Enough is enough! With Republicans in control of both the House and the Senate, we can put a stop to these terrorist transfers once and for all!

When Harry Reid ran the Senate, he blocked all GOP legislation designed to stop Obama’s terrorist prisoner release program. Well, not anymore!

The last time Obama released a terrorist from Guantanamo, it was someone who was caught trafficking Soviet Uranium. Who knows what other dangerous terrorists are on Obama’s list to release.

I, for one, am not willing to find out. I refuse to learn about these monsters after they’ve been released or worse, after they’ve launched a new attack.

Guantanamo Bay isn’t perfect and it isn’t ideal. But the last thing we should be doing is releasing these hardened terrorists back to the Middle East and Southwest Asia so they can rejoin the fight!

Since 2010, Republicans in the House have tried to stop these transfers. But the legislation was always dead on arrival to Harry Reid’s Senate.





You need to DEMAND that your Congressman and Senators pass this important legislation before Obama releases more terrorists!
