Last week, the House of Representatives had the opportunity to finally impeach IRS Commissioner John Koskinen for lying under oath to Congress. There were enough Republican votes to impeach him.
Paul Ryan decided to keep this criminal in office for another year.
It wasn’t the Democrats that spared Obama’s IRS Commissioner the punishment he deserves. It was Paul Ryan and his RINO allies. The vote was 342-72. The RINOs teamed up with the Democrats to help keep Obama’s corrupt IRS chief in office.
Yes, Donald Trump will be formally elected today. But that does not mean that he will get to replace John Koskinen when he enters the White House in January. Because the IRS is supposed to be a non-political agency, the Commissioner has a set term. Koskinen will continue to be the director of the IRS until November 17, 2016.
This is the man who lied to Congress about deliberately targeting Conservatives. He was ordered to preserve files and documents and, just like Hillary Clinton, he allowed them to be destroyed while under a legal subpoena. When asked if the subpoenaed documents were being preserved, Koskinen lied to Congress and said yes even though he knew that hard drives were being incinerated.
The man committed perjury during his testimony to Congress. But even worse, it has been 3 years since the IRS scandal first broke and just last month, another Judge determined that there was a coordinated discrimination plot against Conservative organizations.
Paul Ryan just voted to keep this criminal in office. This is unacceptable!
There were 72 Conservative Republicans who listened to the people and voted to move forward with impeachment.
All told, 166 Republicans joined forces with 176 Democrats to keep this Obama’s corrupt and criminal IRS Commissioner in office.
This year, a Federal Court ruled that the IRS hadn’t even demonstrated it had stopped targeting Conservatives. Think about that… We are 3-years removed from the scandal and the IRS didn’t even prove that it had stopped deliberately targeting Conservatives.
Paul Ryan just helped to keep the IRS Commissioner, who has presided over much of this scandal, in office.
This is a slap in the face to Conservatives, but it is also wake-up call for us. Yes, we won the Presidency. But this issue alone proves that Paul Ryan and Co. will continue to side with Democrats instead of pushing a Conservative agenda.
They teamed up with Democrats to keep Obama’s IRS Chief in power, even though they know he presided over destroying evidence that the agency deliberately targeted Conservative non-profit organizations.
We have, with your help, bombarded Congress with close to a million FaxBlasts over the past year and a half demanding that they impeach Obama's IRS Commissioner. We got this impeachment resolution all the way to the floor of the House of Representatives, where Ryan and the RINOs killed it.
We got so close, but this is not the time to quit... now is the time to double-down!
