Dear Conservative,
It happened. For a week or so, residents of the District of Columbia had their 2nd Amendment rights restored.
District Judge Richard J Leon ruled that it was unconstitutional to tell someone that their Constitutional rights exist only in their home. Your free speech isn’t limited to the confines of your home, so neither should your 2nd Amendment right to keep and bear arms.
Now, however, the liberal DC Circuit Court of Appeals has overturned this landmark ruling. A 2-1 ruling will now allow the District of Columbia to continue violating residents’ civil rights during the appeals process.
For those keeping track, Barack Obama’s anti-gun nominee sits on the DC Circuit Court. He previously indicated that he doesn’t believe Americans have a right to own a gun, let alone carry one.
This is who Obama is trying to pack the court system with: Liberal, activist, anti-gun judges. Merrick Garland is just one of many. Sure, he is the most prominent, but there are dozens of other liberal judges that Obama is trying to place on the District and Appeals Courts.
If he succeeds, we will never again see conservative court victories!
For the last 7 years, the Republicans have been rubberstamping Obama’s radical court appointments. At the District, Appeals, and even Supreme Court levels, Obama has gotten exactly who he wanted.
Now, with just months left in his Presidency, Obama is trying to force even more liberal judges upon us and the Republicans are so spineless, they’re going to give him what he wants.
As early as this week, we could see some up or down votes on Obama appointees and turncoat Republicans like McConnell and McCain are more than happy to vote with the Democrats to push them through.
While McConnell is so fixated on giving Obama everything on his wish list, the truth is that the Conservative House of Representatives has passed more than 400 pieces of legislation that are just waiting to receive a Senate vote. He’s just as bad as, if not worse than, Harry Reid in this regard.
Not only are the liberals and RINOs forcing a vote on Merrick Garland to replace Justice Scalia, but they are demanding that the rest of the court vacancies be filled with Obama’s liberals.
That would be the end of conservatism in America.
For the past few months, Congress has been confirming Obama’s nominees much faster than at any other point of his presidency.
They are going to rubber stamp these leftist, activist judges unless YOU do something about it right now!
