Yesterday, around 50 different world leaders arrived in France yesterday to march together against Islamic extremism.
Not one person from in the Obama White House attended… Not a single representative.
Barack Obama, according to the White House, was busy watching football. Secretary of State John Kerry has a valid excuse – he was on an important trip to India. No idea where Joe Biden was. And even though Eric Holder was in Paris, he simply didn’t attend the rally. He chose, instead, to be filmed for a number of Sunday morning news shows.
After 9/11, French President Jacques Chirac was the first foreign leader to visit the White House.
After all that France has endured this past week, the Obama White House just sent the US Ambassador to France to attend the rally… that’s it.
But remember: the White House sent three representatives to Mike Brown’s funeral this past summer.
This is the same administration that refused to call Benghazi a “terrorist attack.”
This is the same administration that goes out of its way to avoid using the term “Islamic terrorism.”
This is the same administration that renamed terrorist attacks as “manmade disasters”
This is the same administration that is more interested in releasing terrorists than keeping them off the battlefields.
When the Barbarians were at the gates, the Romans were busy spectating in the Colosseum. The fact that Barack Obama chose watching football over marching alongside other world leaders is shameful.
At every turn, the Obama White House depicts nothing but weakness. Yes, the administration finally got Osama bin Laden. But that’s it. All around the world, our enemies are being emboldened.
John Kerry responded to critics by saying that the talking about the administration’s no-show is nothing but “quibbling.”
He just doesn’t get it. While this President was sitting at home watching playoff football, 50 of the world’s leaders were standing side by side and marching in solidarity against Islamic extremism. He simply couldn’t be bothered. There was NOTHING on his schedule on Sunday. It was completely wide open. But Obama simply couldn’t be bothered.
Barack H. Obama has checked out. He is a lame duck President and has neglected his responsibility to defend our allies. He has proven that while he is an excellent campaigner, he is a horrible leader.
We cannot afford to have this administration blundering along for the next two years. We can’t be left defenseless like this.
The terrorists in France received training abroad in Yemen. French intelligence knew this and eventually gave up on surveillance when nothing was discovered.
We have DOZENS of Americans who are fighting for ISIS and other terrorist groups abroad and Democrats continue to block legislation that would prohibit these radicals from returning to the US.
We need Congress to ACT! Stop the President from releasing any more Guantanamo terrorists; stop American terrorists from returning back to the United States (like these terrorists did in France); and for the love of God… defend our allies!
