We predicted it yesterday and were 100% correct: Attorney General Jeff Sessions fired former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe for breaking the law.
McCabe was a central figure in not only the Clinton email investigation, but was also crucial in starting the witch hunt against President Trump. It was in Andrew McCabe's office that Peter Strzok and Lisa Page colluded to start the Trump-Russia investigation as an "insurance policy" in case Trump won.
McCabe helped let Hillary Clinton off the hook and McCabe authorized the Obama administration's spying against the Trump campaign. It was McCabe who decided to go after Michael Flynn, even though the FBI agents who interviewed him did not believe he lied to them. Now we know that McCabe was also caught trying to cover it all up by lying to the Inspector General.
Now, President Trump is lashing out. The President's lawyer released a statement demanding that the whole Trump-Russia investigation be shut down immediately!
Donald Trump's personal lawyer, John Dowd, released a blistering statement urging that the DOJ shut Mueller down for good.
"I pray that Acting Attorney General Rosenstein will follow the brilliant and courageous example of the FBI Office of Professional Responsibility and Attorney General Jeff Sessions and bring an end to the alleged Russia Collusion investigation manufactured by McCabe's boss, James Comey, based upon a fraudulent and corrupt dossier," Dowd said.
The statement is the closest that the White House has come to demanding the probe be shut down.
We know that Comey was crooked. He illegally leaked classified information in order to get Mueller appointed.
We know that McCabe was crooked. He was set to retire with full benefits tomorrow. His crimes were so serious that the FBI's nonpartisan Office of Professional Responsibility recommended he be fired just hours before his slated retirement.
We know that the FBI agent running the Trump-Russia investigation -- Peter Strzok -- was hopelessly biased. Just now, we're learning that Strzok actually had an unethical personal relationship with the judge he was using to go after Trump's allies.
And now Mueller is going off the rails. Unable to prove "collusion," Robert Mueller is going after Trump's businesses and family to try to find something to charge them with. He is prosecuting Trump's former campaign manager for a mortgage crime. Basically, he's alleging that Paul Manafort lied about his home's worth when he applied for a home mortgage...
The whole investigation is a sham. The White House can't shut Mueller down. That would be political suicide.

Congress has the power to shut this witch hunt down by pulling the funding.
In the next six days, Congress has to pass what is known as an "omnibus" bill. Basically, this is a gigantic piece of legislation to fund the government. In this omnibus package is the Department of Justice's appropriations bill (the legislation dictating what the DOJ can and cannot spend money on).
Florida Representative Ron DeSantis has become a Conservative leader over the past two years. He has introduced a one sentence amendment that, if added to this week's spending bill, would eliminate Robert Mueller's funding.
It reads: "None of the funds made available by this Act may be used to fund activities pursuant to Department of Justice Order 3915-2017."
This was the order that launched the Mueller investigation. If Congress approves this, Mueller would be completely cut off. He wouldn't be able to buy his team coffee, let alone pay their salaries.
Andrew McCabe's firing proves that this entire witch hunt is fruit of the poisonous tree. It must be shut down!
The President can't touch Mueller. But Congress can and only YOU can force them to!
