On Friday, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein stood at the podium and announced 12 indictments against Russian military and intelligence agents for hacking the Democratic Party's servers.

The indictments came from the Mueller investigation and as soon as they were announced, Democrats came out in force declaring that the probe was not a "witch hunt."

Here's the problem. Rosenstein admitted that there were no Americans who willingly or knowingly cooperated with these Russian hackers. That is a big deal.

When Rosenstein appointed Robert Mueller, he was given one main goal: investigate "any links and/or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump." That is Mueller's mission.

There have now been 25 indictments against Russian individuals or companies. In all of those, the DOJ went out of its way to state that there were no Americans involved. The only Americans who have been indicted had nothing to do with Russian collusion. For example, Paul Manafort is being prosecuted for lobbying work he did for Ukraine, tax crimes, and a home mortgage he got in the mid 2000s.

Is Mueller winding his witch hunt down now that he knows there was no collusion? No. He is requesting even more prosecutors and demanding that Trump sit for an interrogation.

If the evidence isn't there, Mueller still wants to trap President Trump and his allies anyway.

This has gone on long enough. You need to put pressure on Congress right now and FORCE them to pull the plug on Robert Mueller's out-of-control witch hunt for good!

Mueller was appointed to investigate collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russians. Every single indictment brought against the Russians admits that there were no Americans involved in the alleged crimes.

So why are we allowing this to keep going?

Seriously. Why are we allowing this one man -- Robert Mueller -- to hold the country hostage to the Left's conspiracy theories.

We already know that the investigation began as pure bias. The DOJ Inspector General has already admitted that Peter Strzok -- the man who launched the Trump-Russia witch hunt -- had a "biased state of mind" and displayed a "willingness to take official action to impact a presidential candidate's electoral prospects." The only reason Strzok isn't behind bars is because he covered his tracks.

The allegation that Donald Trump is a traitor who worked with the Russians to steal the election is a fantasy. It is a leftist conspiracy theory. Mueller is supposed to be investigating it, but every time a Russian is charged, there are never any American co-conspirators...

And now Mueller wants to hire more investigators?

The evidence isn't there because it didn't happen. So why are we allowing Robert Mueller to still push forward?

Shut it down! Put pressure on Congress right now and FORCE them to pull the plug on Robert Mueller's out-of-control witch hunt for good!

It is time to shut Mueller down. He was charged with investigating Trump-Russia collusion and has determined that the Russians who allegedly meddled in the election did so without any American help.

He should be shutting things down and handing the cases over to DOJ prosecutors. But instead, Mueller is doubling down on investigating Trump for "obstruction." You know, for when Trump fired FBI Director James Comey, a man who the Inspector General said should have been fired.

And he is going even harder after the Trump allies who were charged with other crimes. Paul Manafort is being prosecuted for paperwork violations, tax crimes, and a home mortgage. Even though he is innocent until proven guilty, he's been held in solitary confinement for 23-hours a day. He is being punished until he agrees to flip on Trump for anything Mueller can use to take him down.

Now that Congress is back in session, they have resumed the work of writing up appropriations bills. These are the pieces of legislation that determine how your taxdollars will be used next year. One of those bills is to fund the Justice Department, including Robert Mueller's investigation.

Rep. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) is a strong conservative who is currently running to become the next governor of Florida. But before he leaves Congress, he has a goal: completely defund Robert Mueller.

He has introduced an amendment that would do just that. He introduced it last year. The bill says that if Mueller cannot show evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russians, then the investigation's funding would be completely pulled. It has been a year and the only thing Mueller has confirmed is that there was no collusion.

If this bill passes, Mueller wouldn't be able to keep the lights on, let alone push forward with this witch hunt.

Congress is a co-equal branch of government. They have the power to shut this whole thing down.

And Congress works for YOU!

No more games. You need to put pressure on Congress right now and FORCE them to pull the plug on Robert Mueller's out-of-control witch hunt for good!

Sincerely,
Joe Otto
