Well, here it is. Our moment has arrived.
President Trump - alongside Senators Cotton and Perdue - just announced a new plan to reform our immigration system to protect American workers. The bill would cut legal immigration in half and only admit skilled immigrants into the US.
The Trump administration also just announced that it was cutting through the environmental red tape to build the wall. Liberal snowflakes won't be allowed to block the wall because it might inconvenience a random species of turtle.
The House appropriated all the money Trump needs to get started on the wall. On the same day, Speaker Paul Ryan released a video announcing the he is fully throwing his weight behind... Trump's border wall.
The pressure you're putting on Congress is working! Conservatives are finding the courage to move forward with these measures. Unfortunately, the RINOs and liberals are waking up and promising to block these bills from moving forward.
Right now, special interest groups are trying to turn these bills into liberal immigration wishlists. They want amnesty, an open border, and more unskilled immigrants entering the US every year.
Don't let them sabotage President Trump's agenda!
The bill announced today would cut the legal immigration quota in half and give significant priority to skilled immigrants. The goal is to make sure that the people we're bringing into the country don't just wind up on welfare or stealing an American's job.
Not surprisingly, this directly conflicts with what the establishment and the Democrats want. They want to bring more unskilled immigrants into the country, both legally and illegally. That would mean more low-wage workers and more Democrat voters. That is why they're fighting the President.
The bill they are desperately trying to add to the border legislation is the Dream Act. This bill is being pushed by GOP Senator Lindsey Graham and would make Obama's DACA amnesty program permanent. It would prohibit Pres. Trump from deporting any of Obama's amnesty recipients.
You need to rise up and push back!
The budget deadline is fast approaching. This fight will be over before most Americans even know it was happening. That is why it is so important for you to fight right now.
You know more than the average American and with that comes a responsibility to do something about it!
The President is moving forward with this. Some in the GOP leadership are starting to surrender to your demands.
Liberals know that they are backed into a corner. That is when they're most dangerous. We have seen how one liberal Republican like John McCain can ruin an entire legislative effort. Democrats are hoping they can peel off enough cowardly Republicans in order to block Trump's wall. It is our job to make sure that doesn't happen!
The President and his allies are doing their jobs. But they need your help making sure the bills pass.
