This is a pretty long email, but it is also critically important.

President Trump is demanding that Congress send the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act to his desk for signature. This is the legislation that would outlaw late-term abortions after the 20th week.

Week 20 is important because this is the point when unborn children start to develop the ability to feel pain. For years, surgeons who operated on 20+ week children in the womb have been ethically required to administer anesthesia before beginning the procedures. The reasoning is that it would simply be immoral, and in many cases illegal, to perform on a human being without blocking his or her pain receptors.

Yet, if an abortionist is performing a procedure on that same baby, they are legally allowed to perform dismemberment abortions and they don't even bother with anesthetics.

Of the 1.06 million abortions performed in the US every year, 1% of them are performed after the 20th week of gestation. That comes out to an average of 27 abortions a day on babies who not only feel pain, but have the ability to survive outside the womb if just given the chance.

Mitch McConnell said last week that he would eventually get around to scheduling a vote on the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act. In the past seven days since his promise, at least 189 children have been aborted after the 20th week. All because of his inaction.

We cannot afford to wait any longer!

Don't let the GOP drag their feet on this! Send your instantaneous FaxBlast and FORCE Congress to pass the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act and protect the unborn!

When the Supreme Court issued its Roe v. Wade decision in 1973, they ruled that the point of viability was 28 weeks (seven months). This is the legal term for the point that an unborn child is developed enough to survive outside the womb if born alive.

In the half century since that ruling, medical advancements have been remarkable. Today, there are thousands of elementary and middle school-age children who were born premature before the legally acceptable "point of viability." There are even adults who were born at 21- and 22- weeks gestation. The fact that state and federal law permits these gruesome abortions is simply unconscionable.

My wife is pregnant with our first child, a healthy baby boy. She is 25 weeks along and the picture above is from our 24-week ultrasound. At that ultrasound, the technician said that our child was developed enough that if he is born premature, he would likely be able to survive. However, we live in a state that actually allows women to get abortions - no questions asked - before the 26th week. After that point, they would need to get a doctor to sign off on a third-trimester abortion.

I was born more than a month premature and the fact that it is legal to abort - to kill - babies who are developed enough to feel pain and even survive outside the womb is flat-out unacceptable.

The Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act would put an end to late-term abortions once and for all and ensure that if a child is able to survive outside the womb, they would get that chance. It would ensure that when a child develops the ability to feel pain, abortionists aren't allowed to rip them apart limb from limb.

We have to pass this legislation. We have to protect them.

Don't let McConnell and his cronies stall any longer! Tell Congress right now that if they don't put this legislation onto Trump's desk, you will replace them with candidates who will!

Mitch McConnell is stalling. It's been a week since he promised to allow a vote and there still hasn't been any movement on the legislation. He still is saying that he will schedule a vote on it eventually but if the Democrats filibuster, he has told his allies that he will NOT use the nuclear option to put it onto Trump's desk. He values the Senate rules above the lives of the unborn.

Paul Ryan and the House of Representatives may have passed the legislation, but they are not doing everything in their power to pressure the Senate into passing it. Ryan refuses to attach the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act to any pieces of must-pass legislation.

We are closer than ever to getting this legislation signed into law.

For the first time in well over a decade, we have a real opportunity to chip away at the scourge of abortion and protect the unborn. This is how we win. Sure, I would love to overturn Roe v Wade and I am confident that I will see that happen in my lifetime. But right now, we have the ability to chip away at the ruling and save ten thousand babies a year. That is worth it.

The legislation has the votes to pass the House, it has more than 50 votes in the Senate, and we have a President who is begging Congress to send the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act to his desk. And yet, this legislation has stalled, once again, in the Senate.

It is time to force Congress to pass this legislation by any means necessary!

Help us bust through the Democrat and RINO blockade! Send your instantaneous FaxBlast to Congress and FORCE them to send the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act to Trump's desk, by any means necessary!

Two years ago, this legislation failed in Congress because one GOP Congresswoman, Rep. Renee Ellmers (NC), refused to let it come to a vote. Do you know how badly she lost her next primary campaign?

She lost by more than 30 percent in a red Republican District. The top reason that the voters chose her opponent was her refusal to pass the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act.

This is your power. You have the ability to strike fear in Congress and force them to honor their oaths and protect the unborn.

We can't afford to wait any longer. Mitch McConnell and the rest of the GOP are dragging their feet.

It is time for YOU to hold their feet to the fire! Send your easy and instant FaxBlast to Congress and force them to put the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act on Pres. Trump's desk, using whatever it takes!

Now or never,
