This is absolutely tragic. Yesterday, word started spreading that two border patrol agents were seriously injured while patrolling an unwalled portion of the southern border known for human smuggling. While government officials were originally vague about caused the injuries, we are now learning all the specifics.
The National Border Patrol Council has confirmed that Agent Rogelio Martinez died after illegal aliens ambushed him and started beating him in the head with rocks. Another agent arrived at the scene and he too was ambushed and pelted with rocks. He is currently in the hospital being treated for his injuries.
This area does not have a border wall. Instead, it is being protected by what RINOs are calling a "virtual wall." Sensors pick up illegal aliens crossing into the United States and then Border Patrol Agents are dispatched to round them up.
That is what happened here and now one border patrol agent is dead and another is in the hospital.
This is the system that Republicans are trying to replace the planned border wall with. Instead of building a wall, they want to rely on sensor technology to spot illegal aliens and then boots on the ground to round them up.
President Trump has had enough of waiting for Congress to approve his border wall and is now demanding immediate funding!
"Border Patrol Officer killed at Southern Border, another badly hurt," Trump declared in a Tweet late Sunday night, "We will seek out and bring to justice those responsible. We will, and must, build the wall!"
No more waiting.
Agent Martinez was killed in an area that RINOs and Liberals believe doesn't need a border wall. They believe that the rocky terrain is enough to stop illegal aliens from crossing the border.
The fact of the matter is that the terrain at the southern border didn't stop these illegal aliens from entering the US, but it did help them hide, ambush Agent Martinez and his partner, and start beating them with rocks.
These are the types of illegal aliens that Jeb Bush infamously said were breaking into the United States as an "act of love." Meanwhile, Martinez's family is left picking up the pieces. He has left behind a fiancee and a son.
We owe the American people a secure border. We owe our border patrol agents a secure border.
The Establishment of both parties have been blocking the wall from being built. On four different occasions, Congress passed a budget or continuing resolution explicitly blocking Trump from building the wall.
The pathetic truth is that now that these illegal alien killers have disappeared into American society, they are now the prime targets for the Left's amnesty proposal. That is why they desperately want to keep the border open.
The President is done waiting. He has now told Congress that he will shut down the government if his border wall is not fully funded. Now it is up to us to FORCE them to!
Build. The. Wall.
