Yesterday, we got a true bombshell. Robert Mueller has admitted to President Trump and his lawyers that they are not legally allowed to indict a sitting President.
This principle is not new. The Justice Department released the guidance during the Nixon impeachment and the Clinton impeachment processes. The Department of Justice cannot indict a President.
When the Constitution was being debated, Alexander Hamilton penned the Federalist Papers to explain to the American people what the new blueprint for American governance meant. In Federalist 69, Hamilton wrote:
"The President of the United States would be liable to be impeached, tried, and, upon conviction of treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors, removed from office; and would afterwards be liable to prosecution and punishment in the ordinary course of law."
The Department of Justice cannot bring charges against a President until he is out of office. Mueller is an employee of the Justice Department. So why on earth are we letting this witch hunt continue???
The Mueller witch hunt turns a year old today, and in these past 365 days, they have uncovered ZERO evidence that anyone in the Trump campaign broke the law by colluding with Russians. After all of this, after spending tens of millions on this witch hunt, they finally admit that they can't indict the President.
This Clinton-Obama-Media driven witch hunt has gone on long enough. And thankfully, Congressmen and Senators are starting to wake up!
Robert Mueller has charged Paul Manafort with crimes that have nothing to do with the campaign. One of the charges is that he incorrectly applied for a home mortgage in the mid-2000s. Mueller charged Michael Flynn with lying to investigators even though the FBI agents who interviewed him put in their notes that he wasn't lying.
They indicted a campaign nobody -- George Papadopoulos -- for lying to investigators even though he committed no other crime.
And in the peak of Mueller's incompetence, in an attempt to score an easy victory against Russians, he indicted a Russian company that didn't even exist at the time. That's right, he indicted a Russian company and accused them of meddling in the 2016 election -- but the company wasn't even incorporated until after the election...
This whole thing is a sham, and we are learning more everyday proving just how much a set up this was.
For example, last week we learned that the Obama administration actually had a spy inside the Trump campaign feeding information back to the political leadership in the DOJ and the White House. But now we know who that person was. All signs lead to a man named Stefan Halper. Not only was he paid over 400k by the government last year to spy on the Trump campaign, but he is also a former Clinton advisor.
The Obama administration used a former-Clinton advisor, someone who went to school with Bill Clinton and advised him in the White House, to spy on the Trump campaign and funnel information to the Democrats.
Trump fired back this morning on Twitter, "wow, word seems to be coming out that the Obama FBI spied on the Trump campaign with an embedded informant... If so, this is bigger than Watergate!"
This is a bombshell, so I want to be absolutely clear in explaining everything we know and how it all fits together...
The Obama administration used a former Clinton aide to spy inside of the Trump campaign. The Obama DOJ then teamed up with the Clinton campaign and used a campaign-funded opposition research smear document to trick a judge into giving them a warrant to listen in on Trump campaign calls.
We know that the FBI agents who led this witch hunt at the beginning were doing it because they believed they owed it to the American people to stop Trump. If Clinton lost, this witch hunt was their "insurance policy."
Just before leaving office, Obama signed an executive order to disseminate these witch hunt documents across the entire intelligence establishment, giving it to all of the Deep State saboteurs to leak to the press.
When Trump fired James Comey for letting this all happen, these Deep Staters leaked information to get a Special Counsel appointed to investigate the President. And the Special Counsel then hired all of the pro-Clinton lawyers who launched the witch hunt to begin with (not to mention the woman who defended the Clinton Foundation during the email investigation).
They can't prove collusion, so they are digging into every Trump advisor, lawyer, campaign worker, and even friend to find something they can use to prosecute President Trump's allies.
And now after a whole year of this, Mueller has finally admitted that he cannot legally or constitutionally even indict President Trump.
This isn't about getting to the truth. This is about destroying Donald Trump and smearing everyone who voted for him.
Even though the Special Counsel cannot charge President Trump with a crime, Robert Mueller is still demanding that Trump sit for a interview under oath. He is even threatening to issue a subpoena and drag President Trump before a grand jury.
All while admitting he can't even indict Donald Trump or prosecute him for a crime.
It's time to shut it all down. In both the Senate and the House, Conservatives are demanding that these Deep State traitors be held accountable for these clear and obvious crimes.
They are making progress. In the House Intel Committee and the Senate Judiciary Committee, Conservatives are demanding Contempt of Congress (and even impeachment votes) against these criminals. We are now getting word that the Freedom Caucus is looking to push an amendment through to cut all of Mueller's funding.
The time to strike is NOW!
