One of my favorite American history quotes comes from Ben Franklin: "In this world, nothing can be said to be certain except death and taxes." What we've learned over the past year, however, is that there is a third guarantee: Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell will always stab Conservatives in the back.
The end of the year is closing in. That means that over the next couple weeks, Congress will have to pass appropriations bills. These bills expand on the budget and specifically lay funding for individual government agencies.
This is the one time when Congress has the power to force the conservative agenda and not even need to worry about Democrat filibusters. Literally, all it takes for Congress to fulfill their promises is for Conservatives to actually vote for what they promised.
Last week, we learned that Paul Ryan was considering sneaking an amnesty provision into the spending bill for the Department of Homeland Security. It would put hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens on the pathway to citizenship. Because of your activism, Ryan was forced to backtrack. Instead of trying to sneak the bill through, he is going to try to push it through as a separate piece of legislation.
Ryan and the Establishment tried to go behind your back. They tried to sneak through a bill to make Obama's amnesty permanent. You bombarded them and they were forced to back down. Instead, they will now need to push their amnesty proposal in the light of day.
But this is just the beginning. Now, Democrats are striking a deal with the RINOs to make the next appropriations bills "clean." That means they would be unchanged and all of the Obama administration policies would remain fully funded.
We've already seen this happen with UN funding. We've already caught Paul Ryan trying to fund Obama's amnesty. The next GOP surrenders are on the wall, Planned Parenthood, Obamacare. Meanwhile, all of the promises that got Donald Trump elected would remain unfunded.
And the Establishment is praying that they can push this sabotage through before you notice!
Make no mistake: this isn't unique to Paul Ryan. Mitch McConnell is hard at work sabotaging the President's agenda as well.
John Boehner patented this strategy. Instead of actually working on the Conservative agenda, Boehner would routinely team up with Democrats to pass their priorities. The results were devastating.
When Paul Ryan was elected as Speaker, he swore he would not do this. Well, he lied.
Paul Ryan is preparing a clean debt ceiling bill with no spending cuts. Every single program that Obama funded will remain funded. He also - and this is literally just breaking now - came to a deal with Nancy Pelosi to pass a temporary budget bill (a continuing resolution) that caves on every single conservative issue.
Under Ryan's agreement with the Democrats, Barack Obama's amnesty would remain completely funded and even enshrined into law. All of the Obamacare subsidies would continue to be funded, which is ludicrous given the fact that the House voted this year to defund them.
Remember Planned Parenthood, the country's largest abortion provider responsible for over a quarter million abortions a year? Paul Ryan's "deal" makes sure they can use your taxdollars to finance their abortion business for another year.
And don't even get me started on the United Nations. Paul Ryan's "deal" would completely fund the UN, allowing the organization to continue using American taxdollars to undermine our sovereignty.
None of this was supposed to leak out. And when it started to leak, YOU were able to force Ryan to back down. Now it is time to finish this!
Mitch McConnell is reportedly on board with this as well. Instead of passing the agenda items that got President Trump elected, they are still working to perpetuate the Obama era.
If Ryan and McConnell get their way, the spending and debt ceiling bills they pass will be indistinguishable from the budgets they passed under Obama. Not only that, but it would explicitly prohibit President Trump from building a border wall or implementing other parts of his agenda.
We are now a full year into the Trump Presidency and these GOP leaders are still too terrified to actually pass the agenda they promised. Even tax reform is starting to fall apart. If they can't figure out a way to pass the agenda that the American people voted for, then each and every one of them needs to be removed.
Ryan and the RINOs negotiated these deals in secret because they knew there would be hell to pay if you found out.
Now that you know, what are you going to do about it?
