The Democrats are freaking out. 

Congress is in a logjam, Joe Biden's domestic agenda is falling apart, Biden is being mocked and ridiculed on the national stage, and Biden's approval rating has never been lower. The only thing that independents and Democrats liked about Biden was how he was handling Covid-19, but he just lost most of that support too...

Democrats thought they would have time to radically transform the United States of America. Now, they are seeing their dreams go up in smoke...

When you add up all of the things Democrats want to push through, the price-tag is in the trillions. Democrats have the votes to ram through some of this spending, but they are running into a huge roadblock: the debt ceiling. 

The debt ceiling limits how much money the United States can borrow. Right now, it is physically impossible for Democrats to ram through their agenda without also increasing the debt ceiling. Just like the average American has limits on their charge cards, the United States has a limit as well. The difference is if you called up your card company and asked to raise the limit, they would deny you if it was clear you had no hope of ever paying it back... There is no one there to tell Congress no... EXCEPT YOU!

In order to raise the debt ceiling, Pelosi and Schumer need Republicans to vote with them. For the past three days, the GOP has held the line and voted NO each time Democrats tried to raise the limit.

Without a debt ceiling increase, Democrats cannot ram through the green new deal, amnesty, or "infrastructure" (which is just a codeword for the rest of their radical agenda).
