A few weeks ago, a District Judge in Philadelphia ruled that the Trump administration was not allowed to withhold federal grants from sanctuary cities simply because they refuse to cooperate with Federal immigration investigations. The judge literally told the Trump administration not to even think about it and applied his ruling nationwide.
Well, President Trump thought about it... and decided to do it anyway! He found a loophole in the ruling. While the judge prohibited the DOJ from pulling existing funding, the ruling said nothing about rejecting applications for future funding!
Jeff Sessions just denied Los Angeles three million in Federal grants because they continue to harbor illegal alien criminals. in fact, one out of every ten illegal aliens in the entire country lives in and around LA.
President Trump is not giving up on his promise to pull the plug on sanctuary cities. Any city, town, or state who refuses to cooperate with Federal immigration enforcement should not be eligible for federal grants. Period.
The City is already taking the rejection to court. By this time next week, one of the Liberal activist judges will undoubtedly step in to try to stop Trump from enforcing the law just like they have done every time before.
The President needs Congress' help . He needs YOUR help to push legislation through completely defunding sanctuary cities!

The left loves to cry "racism" whenever Trump or anyone else talks about enforcing immigration laws. But the fact is that race has nothing to do with it.
I want to tell you the story of Binh Thai Luc, an illegal alien from Vietnam. In 2006, the Bush administration tried to deport Luc, but Vietnam wouldn't take him back. So, a technicality allowed him to continue living in sanctuary city San Francisco. Back in 2012, Luc was arrested. He was accused of murdering a family of five by bludgeoning them with a hammer.
His case just finally wrapped up and he was convicted of murdering the family.
This man should have been deported, but technicalities kept him in the United States. Now, an entire family is dead.
What is even more pathetic is that after he serves his sentence, there is no guarantee that California will hand him over to be deported. Their new sanctuary state prohibits police officers from helping ICE deport illegal alien criminals. There is no guarantee that California or San Francisco will help the Trump administration deport an illegal alien who bludgeoned a family to death with a hammer...
All across America, citizens and legal immigrants are facing the consequences of the Left's dedication to political correctness. New data just released by the DOJ shows that 94 percent of foreigners in Federal prisons are illegal aliens. Imagine how much higher that statistic would be if sanctuary cities and states actually handed them over to the Feds when they are arrested for state or local crimes.
Imagine how many people have died or been victimized by illegal aliens that sanctuary cities deliberately set free.
We all know the major illegal alien criminals, such as Kate Steinle's killer Jose Garcia Zarate in San Francisco, or gang murderer Ever Valles in Denver. But think of all of the countless other crimes that don't always make the headlines. It is enough to bring you to tears.
President Trump is doing everything he can to right the ship. He is defying activist judges and denying sanctuary city applications for federal funding. But liberal judges continue to try to legislate from the bench to protect illegal alien criminals.
Right now, the GOP establishment is working on an amnesty compromise with Democrats. They want to just give amnesty away to all of the illegal aliens that Obama promised it to. Jeff Flake -- the retiring Senator from Arizona -- admitted that he only voted for the tax bill because the GOP leadership promised him an amnesty vote. Yes, that is how warped the GOP's priorities are...
Meanwhile, the border remains completely wide-open and illegal immigration has again returned to Obama-era levels. Not hard to understand why. They are hearing that the GOP is about to cave on amnesty, so they want to get in before it's too late. And American families are the ones paying the price for this cowardice.
We all need to band together and tell Congress, in one united voice, 'don't you dare sell out this country.' They were sent to Washington to enforce our immigration laws, not sidestep them.
President Trump has once again warned Congress not to go down this path. He sent Congress a list of 70 immigration enforcement policies that they must enact. At the top of that list is legislation to defund sanctuary cities!
Right now, that bill has stalled. It is up to YOU to get it moving again and help Pres. Trump crackdown on these sanctuary cities!
