As you have probably heard by now, the United States Supreme Court upheld the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (better known as Obamacare) on a 5-4 vote. While the Individual Mandate was technically ruled unconstitutional, it is allowed to survive as a tax; a legal fiction created for the SOLE purpose of saving Obamacare from total destruction.
Of course, liberals and Democrats all over the country are celebrating; acting like spoiled school children. These folks just can’t help themselves but to rejoice and thumb their noses at those who embrace freedom. Perhaps if they understood what they were giving up, they wouldn’t be so happy to throw away their civil liberties.

Dred Scott v. Sandford was a case decided by the United States Supreme Court in 1857. The Dred Scott decision UPHELD the constitutionality of SLAVERY in America!!! The Dred Scott case underscores the historical fallibility of the Supreme Court. In the aftermath of the decision, Democrats NATIONWIDE celebrated and thumbed their noses at those who embraced freedom. Sound familiar?

The Dred Scott case was meant to settle the question of slavery in the United States; but instead it further polarized our nation. Like we saw after the Obamacare ruling, Democrats alive in 1857 celebrated this freedom-bastardizing decision for their own selfish reasons. Why work when someone else will work for you? This was the concept that historically fueled slavery and today it inspires the political theory of liberals and other recipient class groups nationwide.Using wealth redistribution devices such as Obamacare, liberals in this country are creating capitalism anathematic laws that actually reward the lazy and punish ingenuity and hard work. Obamacare is being described as the largest tax in United States history; it will cost over $1.6 TRILLION and will add an additional $525 billion in new taxes to the already over-taxed middle class.

But hey, at least Obama is finally creating jobs; well, IRS jobs that is. Last week, Governor LePage of Maine called the IRS the “new Gestapo” in his attack on the Obamacare legislation. This new Gestapo wants to hire 4,000 additional agents at a cost of taxpayers of $300 million!! I guess liberals want an IRS agent staffed in every operating room and medical treatment facility in the United States; the IRS will need to make sure that THEY approve of your healthcare. We must tell Congress that we will NEVER accept bureaucrats looking over our doctors’ shoulders.After the Dred Scott decision, Conservatives were charged with the monumental task of ending slavery and saving our Republic. During the famous Lincoln-Douglass debates, Abraham Lincoln argued against slavery and argued in favor of the democratic principles that guided the creation of our Republic. Abraham Lincoln would go on to become the Republican candidate for President in the 1860 election and win the Presidency. He was sworn into office on March 4, 1861. Unfortunately, it took a Civil War to finally end slavery. In 1863, Abraham Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation and ended slavery in the United States.

Despite a Supreme Court loss and all out Civil War, conservatives refused to give in to the evils of slavery. Our conservative forbearers worked within the system to elect a conservative President with the courage to stand up to the corruption-addled Democrats of his day. We changed history and freed men because we refused to stop, because we had the courage to keep pressing forward no matter the cost. In the end, President Lincoln would give his life for his beliefs; are you willing to stand up for yours?Today, conservatives are once again faced with the daunting task of fighting tyranny and protecting freedom. We must be strong and courageous like our cultural ascendants! We must hold the line on Obamacare and repeal the legislation. Our freed is genuinely at stake. Abraham Lincoln is regarded by many as the greatest of the American Presidents. Much of this respect is due to his courage, commitment to the Constitution, and his love of liberty. If we are to repeal Obamacare, we will need some of that same courage. We will have to harness his tenacity, strength, and compassion in ourselves if we are to stand up and effectively fight for our country. Today, we need your voice to join us in this chorus of freedom. We need you to tell Congress that you refuse to give up your liberties and you will take back what is rightfully yours!! We must demand that Congress repeal Obamacare immediately!!
