And there we have it. Yesterday evening, the Department of Justice finally released James Comey's memos.
What do they say at the very top? Classified by Director... Declassify in 2027.
These memos were classified the minute that James Comey put them to paper. That is why there are large chunks of the memos that remain redacted and classified.
James Comey has admitted dozens of times, including under oath to Congress, that he deliberately leaked these memos to a friend of his in order to get them to the media.
He has admitted to intentionally leaking Classified information. Ironically, it is the same crime that he decided not to go after Hillary for violating...
At the very top of the email that holds Comey's memos, he writes, "I am not sure of the proper classification here, so have chosen SECRET."
Comey himself classified these memos. He actively made them classified. After he was fired, he took the classified memos with him (a.k.a. removed from its proper place of custody) and gave them to a civilian (a.k.a. delivered to anyone in violation of his trust) specifically so that they could leak to the press.
Comey admitted that he did this intentionally. Funny enough, in the memos, Comey allegedly promised that he
He committed the same crime (18 USC § 793f) that Hillary was investigated for. Except here, there's no question at all about intent. He did this on purpose, so he must be prosecuted.
This week, 11 Conservative Congressmen sent a letter to Jeff Sessions requesting that James Comey be prosecuted.
Why so few? Because the GOP leadership refuses to put the resolution to a full vote!
This is an open and shut case. The released copies of the memos show that thew were classified the moment they were written and that James Comey himself issued the classification.
Comey admitted before Congress under oath that he deliberately leaked these memos to get them to the press.
He knew they were classified and he leaked them anyway. He committed the same crime as Hillary Clinton. Comey let her off the hook for violating the Espionage Act.
He must be prosecuted.
Right now, 11 Conservative Congressmen have signed onto a letter asking Jeff Sessions to prosecute James Comey. They are Reps. DeSantis, Biggs, Brat, Duncan, Gaetz, Gosar, Harris, Hice, Rokita, Tenney, and Yoho.
The GOP leadership is deliberately keeping this from the floor and there is no guarantee Sessions will open the investigation.
This is NOT good enough!
