We have been saying for days that Paul Ryan cannot be trusted. When push came to shove, he would always side with amnesty over the American people.
I regret to inform you that we were right.
Yesterday, Freedom Caucus Chairman Mark Meadows (R-NC) caught Paul Ryan trying to sneak a different immigration bill to the floor. Ryan's office had given Conservatives one bill that would receive a vote, but Ryan had scheduled a vote on an amended version of the bill, one that didn't include many of the Conservative provisions that Trump had demanded.
Right on the House floor, Meadows walked over to Ryan and got in his face, accusing him of lying and selling out the country. The picture above shows the shouting match that was caught on CSPAN. During the heated exchange, Meadows could be heard saying that he's "done" with Ryan.
The Speaker of the House is still planing to push his bill through today, even if that means getting Democrats to make up for the 31 conservatives in the Freedom Caucus.
Paul Ryan's only goal is to build a monument to himself and pass the amnesty that the left is craving. That is what he wants his legacy to be.
Ryan is moving forward with the vote today.

Even with Meadows pulling his support, Paul Ryan is committed to holding a vote on immigration today. Even if that means passing it with majority Democrat support.
The GOP leadership huddled with the Republican Caucus two days ago and promised that there would be a vote on the Conservative "Goodlatte" Bill. Yesterday, they were caught scheduling an altered version of the bill. And no, the Freedom Caucus isn't angry because Ryan made the bill more conservative...
All that the Republican Establishment had to do was be honest and give the American people what they voted for. But cowards like Ryan never wanted Trump to win. Ryan never thought Trump would win. He never thought he would actually have to pass the border security legislation that he had been promising for years.
Now, with the opportunity to pass real border security, Ryan is running over to the Democrats to legalize Obama's amnesty programs.
The GOP leadership was just caught stabbing conservatives in the back. It's time to take them all down.
The vote is TODAY. Paul Ryan is trying desperately to push his amnesty bill through.
It is up to you to stop him.
It is up to you to put the fear back into Republicans!
