This is really big news! The 5th Circuit Court of Appeals has lifted a lower court injunction against President Donald Trump's border wall executive order.
This morning, the President ordered the Department of Homeland Security and Pentagon to begin moving full speed ahead on more than 500 miles of NEW border wall sections!
The leadership in both parties are furious. Neither the GOP nor the Democrats want Trump to secure the border. They expected the court fight to go all the way to the Supreme Court and take at least another year to be resolved. The Establishment hoped that Trump would be out of office before the Border Wall fight was decided.
But now that the 5th Circuit has upheld the legality and constitutionality of the border wall project, the traitors in Congress are rushing to stop Trump from building the wall!
When the GOP refused to fund the border wall project, Trump had no choice but to go it alone. He used his power under the National Emergencies Act and declared that an unsecured southern border poses a national security risk to the country. This allowed the President to reprogram funds from the Pentagon to get the construction projects started.
At one point, new border wall sections were going up at a rate of around a mile a day; a staggering pace. But then, the Obama-appointed judges ordered Trump to stop all construction. They ruled that it was unconstitutional for Trump to declare that an unsecured southern border is dangerous for the country…
But now that the 5th Circuit has weighed in, construction is allowed to begin again. And Trump has ordered all 500+ of the planned border wall construction to begin immediately!
Right now as you read this, construction crews are back at work in California, New Mexico, Arizona, and Texas building the wall.
But the GOP and Democrats are desperate to stop Trump! By law, Congress has the power to revoke Trump's executive order using a process known as the Congressional Review Act. It only takes a couple Republicans to flip and vote against the wall in order for it to pass.
And right now, there are two dozen GOPers on record, promising to vote to kill the border wall as soon as the Chuck Schumer-led bill comes up for a vote.
The Establishment thought they had all the time in the world to figure out a way to kill the wall. But now that the 5th Circuit has lifted the injunction, they are rushing their bill to the floor!
I have waited my whole life for the border wall to be built. Democrats and Republicans spent decades promising to build the wall, only to deliver nothing but excuses. Every time the border wall funding came up for a vote, the GOP said that the timing wasn't right to fight for it.
But with Trump, we finally have a President willing to do whatever it takes to secure the border and keep the American people safe. When the GOP tried to stab him in the back again, he used his power as President to kickstart the project anyway.
Construction has begun. Crews are racing to build 500 miles of new wall by the end of this year.
But if the Establishment is able to pass their anti-wall bill, then it will all be over. The construction will end and the border will never be secured.
Victory is so close. Don't let the Democrats and GOP stop the wall from being built!
