Breaking News: The GOP leadership is ordering the President to stand down after he announced that he has discovered a way to build the border wall without Congressional approval!



President Trump has long threatened that he will use the military to build the wall, if Democrats and establishment Republicans refuse to agree on border wall funding.

This week, the President received the go ahead from the White House Counsel's Office: He has the power to issue an emergency declaration and have the military almost fully build the border wall!

The power comes from Title 10 of the United States Code, Section 2808:

"In the event of a declaration of war or the declaration by the President of a national emergency... the Secretary of Defense, without regard to any other provision of law, may undertake military construction projects, and may authorize the Secretaries of the military departments to undertake military construction projects, not otherwise authorized by law that are necessary to support such use of the armed forces."


That right there is Trump's ticket to build the border wall.

There is currently 10.6 billion appropriated for military construction projects. Most of that was earmarked for troops in Syria and Afghanistan. With US forces withdrawing from both countries, Trump has the power to use it all to build the border wall instead!

Amazingly, the Republican Party is ordering the President to stand down. They would rather the Democrats block the wall entirely than for Trump to issue the emergency declaration!

The Democrats' new trick is a promise to debate the border wall if President Trump will agree to give up all of his leverage. They want the government re-opened. Only then would they agree to debate an immigration package.

Of course they want the government re-opened. If Trump gives up all of his leverage, then they wouldn't have to approve a cent of wall funding.

So, why are Republicans now threatening Trump and ordering him to stand down?

Democrats are picking up Republican Senators left and right. We now know that Mitt Romney, Susan Collins, and Cory Gardner have now agreed to vote with Democrats to re-open the government without approving any additional border wall funding. If the Left can secure just one more GOP vote, then they'll have enough to push the measure through.

Other Republicans, like Richard Shelby, are cautioning the President against doing everything he can to build the wall and warning that there will be consequences if he tries to do it without Congress.

Let me get this straight: the GOP refused to build the wall for two years and now, as the Left is one vote away from killing the whole project, ranking Republicans are angry at Trump for getting creative?

President Trump only has a tiny window to use the state of emergency declaration to build the wall. You CANNOT let the GOP establishment block him on this!

You need to rise up right now and protect President Trump's plan from being defunded!

The Republican Party in Congress simply doesn't have the backbone to secure the border wall funding on their own. Every day, we learn that another so-called Conservative has started to cave.
