President Trump ran on a pretty simple message. No one who is in the United States illegally should ever be comfortable.
There is no amnesty. If you are an illegal alien, you can and will be deported.
A group of Republicans are now teaming up with Democrats to stop the deportations of these millions of illegals that Obama gave amnesty to. Pres. Trump ran on a promise to end the practice of illegal alien amnesty and retook the White House. The GOP doesn't seem to care.
The new updated version of the DREAM Act being pushed by GOP Senator Lindsey Graham would make Obama's amnesty permanent.
This is not a drill. Senators Graham and Durbin are promising to introduce their new version of the DREAM Act today. This bill would take Barack Obama's unconstitutional amnesty and codify it into law.
Millions of illegal aliens would instantly gain permanent residency and be put on the pathway to citizenship.
Why is this happening now? Well, Texas and nine other Republican states just announced they will sue the Federal government to force them to shut down Obama's last-remaining amnesty program. It is only a matter of time before the courts or the President himself rescinds the millions of amnesty documents and social security cards that Obama doled out to illegal immigrants.
This has Lindsey Graham and his RINO allies terrified. For years, they acted tough on immigration but now that Trump is actually taking action, they're completely flip-flopping.
In 2010, Lindsey Graham voted against an identical version of the bill and declared that he would never vote for amnesty until we secure our borders. Fast forward to today and not only is Lindsey Graham blocking funding for Trump's wall, but he just co-sponsored the very bill he previously railed against.
This is just another example of GOP betrayal.
Why did they make these promises to fight against amnesty to begin with? Because they knew that is what the American people demanded. Now that Trump is elected, these turncoat Republicans have convinced themselves that they can show their true liberal colors without any consequences.
The only language these people understand is their re-election prospects. Right now, they believe they can pass amnesty and still win re-election.
It is literally up to you to prove them wrong. It is up to you to raise your voice and tell every Congressman and Senator that you will remove them from office if they sign onto this amnesty bill!
Every day, it is another betrayal. But we cannot just sit back and let this happen. We need to fight, day in and day-out to hold Congress accountable and force them to pass the agenda that We The People voted for!
When the Senate tried to pass amnesty in 2010, they came just a handful of votes short. Add in Graham and his allies and there are more than enough votes to pass this.
Don't let these GOP turncoats make Obama's amnesty permanent!
