Unbelievable. Absolutely unbelievable. Yesterday, the Democrats blocked the American SAFE Act from receiving a final vote in the Senate.

This is the bill that would have forced the Federal government to perform more rigorous background checks on Syrian and Iraqi refugees entering the country. Apparently, that's too much for Harry Reid and the Democrats. Apparently, ensuring that terrorists are kept out of the country is too much to ask.

55 Senators voted for the bill, just shy of the 60 required to end debate. The Democrats filibustered it. They are completely content with letting terrorists slip through.
