Dear Conservative,

As you are probably aware, Congress is on recess. Technically, they are supposed to be taking this opportunity to meet with constituents. Unfortunately, instead of meeting with constituents, many legislators use this break as an opportunity to actually go on vacation.

Our founders wrote that the purpose of Congress was to constantly “take the pulse of the people.” Congress represents us. When it comes to the important decisions that have to be made, we leave it to Congress to work in our interest.

Originally, there was no such thing as a Congressional ‘vacation.’ At the time of the founding, Members of Congress worked part-time. They would go to Washington to represent the people, and then they would go home in the summer to return to their real jobs. They would return home and re-enter their communities. It was their duty to actively listen to the people. And when Congress fails to meet that obligation, it was, and continues to be, our duty to hold them accountable.

Over the past few days, we have gotten a number of emails asking us why we continue to run fax blasting campaigns while Congress is on vacation. Well, the answer is simple…

Congress may be on recess, but President Obama is just as active with issuing unconstitutional executive orders and decisions... Executive branch bureaucrats are just as corrupt… Activist judges are just as lawless… Our enemies abroad are just as brazen…

Just because Congressmen and Senators aren’t physically at the Capitol doesn’t mean we should give up fighting. Not only are their Capitol Hill offices still staffed, but we are also faxing their local offices in their districts.

First and foremost, Conservative Daily is a news source that provides hundreds of thousands of Americans with news that, in many cases, isn’t being covered by the mainstream media. That is why it is so important to continue to hammer Congress and demand that legislators honor their oaths and hold the President accountable!





We will continue to focus on the issues that matter to you and we will continue to hold Congress accountable, regardless of where our legislators are hiding.

When the future of this republic is at stake, there can be no vacation.
