When someone is breaking into your home, you call 9-1-1. Surely, the police will come to your rescue, right? Not so fast.
Having a gun in your home is much, much faster than the police response time. When seconds count, the police are only minutes away. The bottom line: GUNS SAVE LIVES!
Guns in the hands of good people, such as you, (and 99% of Americans) are right. Going against all forms of the Obama administration’s GUN CONTROL agenda is the right thing to do. Not only do we exercise our constitutionally guaranteed freedoms in the Second Amendment, but also we have the right to defend our family from intruders, robbers, rapists, murderers, etc. Guns really do protect the innocent!
Statistics say that 6,850 times every day, innocent people use guns to protect their lives or their property. That’s why we must be deeply involved in stopping all forms of gun control legislation, so we can protect ourselves from criminals and tyranny!
ABC News reports: “The Pew Research Center released a survey which showed 48 percent of gun owners purchased firearms for protection – an increase of 22 percent from the survey conducted in August of 1999. 65 percent of women listed protection as their top priority, compared to 43 percent in 1999, while 42 percent of men said protection was their main concern, up 21 points from 1999.”
Don’t be fooled by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid not presenting the legislation to ban assault weapons! There is still “bite” in the Dianne Feinstein bill to put gun owners on notice! Congress is taking up gun control THIS WEEK! Your faxes must be sent NOW. Waiting another day will cause your voice to NOT be heard in this current round of gun grabbing by this administration.
However, we are up against gun-haters who have literally seized the moment when school children were fatally wounded in Connecticut.
That is what we are up against. The mainstream press ignores:
A 2007 mall shooting in Ogden, Utah, ended when an armed off-duty police officer intervened.
Two coworkers who carried concealed handguns halted A 2009 workplace shooting in Houston, Texas.
A 2012 church shooting in Aurora, Colorado, was stopped by a member of the congregation carrying a gun.
At the recent mall shooting in Portland, Oregon, the gunman took his own life minutes after being confronted by a shopper carrying a concealed weapon.
HERE IS THE VERY REAL BOTTOM LINE:
The use of guns “by the good guys” averts bloodshed! We must do all we possibly can to keep our guns!
Don’t let the congressional rhetoric and passionate images on television sway you away from using your country-given and God-given Constitutional rights guaranteed by the Second Amendment!
These stories of self-defense can be duplicated hundreds of times EVERY SINGLE DAY! But, again, you’ll never hear about it in our news.
Friend, this is the week that demands our attention to this matter. This is THE week that Congress is debating about gun control. That is precisely why your fax is so vitally important NOW!

According to a Department of Justice survey, 60 percent of felons polled agreed, “a criminal is not going to mess around with a victim he knows is armed with a gun.” Another Justice Department statistic: THREE-FOURTHS of felons polled agreed that “one reason burglars avoid houses when people are at home is that they fear being shot during the crime.”
Let’s keep that armed citizens’ deterrent to crime. Tell Congress what they need to hear: GUNS SAVE LIVES!
