The Second Amendment is on borrowed time. It pains me to say it, but if we keep going down this path, it’s true.
White House aides have confirmed that the President's latest gun control executive order can literally come any day now.
A lot of websites are using Obama’s upcoming executive order to warn that the sky is falling. They say that gun bans and confiscations are imminent. They are nothing but fear-mongerers.
But just because the government won’t be kicking down your door now doesn’t mean that Obama’s executive order won’t lay the groundwork for future confiscations. In fact, Obama’s plan will all but guarantee gun confiscation.
You see, the President plans to rewrite the law to expand background checks for private gun purchases and transfers. This is the only way to truly keep a nationwide gun registry.
We’ve already caught the federal government illegally keeping a registry of store-bought guns. There is now a class-action lawsuit that has been filed against the government's illegal registry. As much information as the government has on gun store purchases, they are deliberately blind to the private transfers.
Registration precedes confiscation, that is a fact. If Obama succeeds, then the question will be when, not if, they will come for the guns.
The case is clear. The law says that only gun store purchases require background checks.
The law explicitly says that private sales are exempt from background checks. The Federal government cannot force private citizens register their firearms. It is flat-out illegal.
Yet, that is exactly what Obama is doing. And he isn’t going to put the change through Congress, as the Constitution requires. He is going to enact it through executive order. Tyrannical fiat.
If he succeeds, then he will have created a federal registry of firearm transfers. That is the first step towards nationwide confiscations.
It is how it happened in Great Britain and in Australia. Millions of people were disarmed.
This is UNACCEPTABLE!
Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) has introduced legislation that will literally pull the rug out from under Obama’s gun control agenda. It would eliminate the ability to enact gun control by executive order.
Real conservatives are fast-tracking it through Congress as fast as possible but the RINOs in the Republican Party are trying to stall it as long as they can.
The Establishment doesn’t want to stop Obama. They want more gun control but know it would be political suicide to vote for it. So, they’re just not going to stand in the way of Obama’s tyranny. This is who we put in office. This is the type of treachery we are dealing with.
The only hope is to get Rand Paul’s bill through congress as fast as possible and that means we need to get loud and demand it!
