John Boehner announced early this month that the House of Representatives would not hold a vote on so-called “comprehensive immigration reform” before the summer recess, or even by the end of the year.
This sent the Democrats into a tizzy, scrambling to figure out ways to go around Boehner’s refusal so they could introduce amnesty through other means.
First, Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats tried a discharge petition, a parliamentary maneuver by which a minority party can circumvent the majority if they can obtain a majority of signatures on their petition. You answered the call to put an end to this maneuver, and thanks to you reaching out and fax blasting Congress, the Democrat’s discharge petition went nowhere.
Then there were rumors that John Boehner would cave and at least hold a vote on “immigration reform.” Together, we joined likeminded Patriots around the country in issuing a stark warning against pushing for amnesty. We fax blasted Congress and warned that any amnesty supporters would be voted out of office. Then, like clockwork, Virginia’s 7th Congressional district voted the House Majority Leader out of office during a Republican primary. This has NEVER happened before.
And now, the Democrats are scrambling to figure out how to give amnesty to the tens of millions of illegal aliens in the country without following the constitution. And of course, their ace in the hole is Barack Obama and his executive orders!
When Boehner announced that he was bowing to the pressure from Conservatives and not holding an immigration vote, Barack Obama pledged to do everything in his power to circumvent congress and implement amnesty on his own.
Don’t believe Obama has the guts to circumvent Congress with amnesty? He has already done it by going around Congress to give so-called “DREAMERs” amnesty. Even though Congress voted the DREAM Act down, Barack Obama gave these illegal alien children amnesty on his own with just the stroke of a pen. When Congress refused to pass his legislation, Obama used an executive order instead!
According to Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-IL), Obama is preparing to issue his executive order any day now. Speaking before La Raza, a hardline pro-amnesty group, Gutierrez told those in attendance that President Obama had personally promised him to end deportations and make amnesty the law of the land.
Obama swore to Gutierrez that he would be as "generous and broad" as he can to "stop the deportation of our people each and every day."
His people? Representative Luis Gutierrez is a member of the House of Representatives of these United States of America. I was not aware that he considered the millions of illegal aliens who broke our laws to be ‘his people.’ I would think that, if anything, the voting constituents who sent him to Washington would be ‘his people.’
Well, apparently Mr. Gutierrez had no intention of serving the people of the Fourth Congressional District of Illinois… He has proven that…
When Barack Obama sidestepped Congress and instituted the DREAM Act by executive fiat, Rep. Gutierrez says that should be seen as a “down payment.” Obama illegally implementing a law without Congress to give amnesty to 600,000 illegals was apparently just the beginning. Now, he explains, Obama is ready to grant amnesty to every last illegal immigrant!
Conservatively, we are talking about at least 12 to 14 MILLION illegal aliens who stand to gain from Obama’s executive order. But in all honesty, that number is probably closer to 20 million!
Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) is on record saying that if the Republicans don’t agree to surrender this country to illegal aliens, “the president will borrow the power that is needed to solve the problems of immigration.” Pardon my French, but what the hell does that mean? Nowhere in the Constitution does it give the President the authority to “borrow” powers from the other branches of government!
If Obama is allowed to hand out amnesty by executive fiat, we are talking about growing the United States population by 6% overnight! What do you think that will do to Conservatives’ chances of taking back the White House in 2016???
Democrats sat down with President Obama and asked him, “Mr. President, we want you to be as generous and broad and wise as the Republicans have been small and mean-spirited.”
Are they serious? Since when is it “mean-spirited” to ask that the United States secure its own border? Are we “mean-spirited” because we want to make sure we know who is coming and going across the border?
This is ridiculous!
The clock is running out! Obama has promised to draft an illegal alien amnesty executive order by the start of the Congressional summer recess. That is a week away!
It is now or never, folks… Either we rise up and demand Congress put an end to this amnesty push or we could see illegal alien amnesty as the law of the land by the end of the week!
This country is too valuable… American citizenship is too valuable to just give it away to people whose first order of business in the United States was to break our laws!
