Fellow Conservative,
It has been a week since Obama changed the law to redefine what constitutes a firearms dealer, putting anyone who sells a gun at risk of prosecution.
It has been a week since Obama informed the nation that he would use taxpayer money to develop technology to GPS track and remotely disable millions of Americans’ guns.
It has been a week since Obama ordered the Social Security Administration to disarm and confiscate weapons from 75,000 beneficiaries for nothing but technicalities.
What has Congress done? Nothing.
They had a whole week to respond. They did nothing. They are letting these unconstitutional and illegal executive orders go into effect.
Rep. Steven Palazzo (R-MS) introduced legislation to censure the President – basically have Congress express its “severe disapproval” – and Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell won’t even put that up for a vote.
They are so spineless that they are afraid of even sending Obama what amounts to a sternly worded letter!
This is just par for the course. We’re still waiting for Congress to find its backbone and put a stop to the President’s unconstitutional amnesty executive orders. When given the opportunity to defund the President’s amnesty directive last month, the GOP instead chose to fund every single cent of it.
These spineless Congressmen and Senators spend all their time campaigning and promising to stand tall and then when push comes to shove and it’s time to actually live up to those promises, they cower and hide until it blows over.
The President is only emboldened by this cowardice. He is now calling you, and I, and millions of other gun owners “conspiracy theorists” for fearing a nationwide gun grab.
This is coming from the man who supports a ban on all semi-automatic weapons. A man who defended the District of Columbia’s ban on handgun ownership. A man who touts Australian gun confiscation as a viable option for the United States.
In 1995, Senator Diane Feinstein gave an interview with 60 Minutes. She authored the Assault Weapons Ban but she said that if she could have, she would have forced Americans to “turn them all in.”
So no, it is not a “conspiracy.” It is a fundamental aspiration of the Democrat party.
And where is the GOP? Well, the RINOs are celebrating. They secretly want gun control, but could never dream of voting for it. They’d be instantly voted out of power. So they’re happy as can be. They’re getting what they want without casting a single vote.
This is why it is more important than ever to rise up together and FORCE Congress to put a stop to this madness.
