They want your guns!!
Gun confiscation in America is not related to some science fiction movie. It is very real. It is right now. It is a reality here in the United States of America.
Forget what the nation’s forefathers wrote in the United States Constitution! Forget what the Second Amendment really says! GUN CONFISCATION has already started here in our great country! And we must do all we can to stop this onslaught against our Constitutionally guaranteed freedoms!
U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) warned the Senate Judiciary Committee that a ban on assault weapons would lead to “gun confiscations.” In his opening statement on March 12 before the Senate Judiciary Committee, Senator Grassley warned that despite banning assault weapons, mass shootings will continue and “criminals will continue to circumvent” the law. As we already know, criminals will continue to acquire guns, no matter what the law says! We must urge Congress to vote against Senate Bill 150 (introduced earlier by U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA).
The majority of Senators on the Senate Judiciary Committee are Democrats. With all Republicans dissenting, these Democrats advanced the bill to the floor of the United States Senate. Here is the condensed thrust of this atrocious Dianne Feinstein bill, S. 150:
The legislation bans the sale, transfer, manufacturing and importation of:
All semiautomatic rifles that can accept a detachable magazine and have at least one military feature (e.g. pistol grip, detachable stock, grenade launcher).
All semiautomatic pistols that can accept a detachable magazine and have at least one military feature (e.g. threaded barrel, a semiautomatic version of an automatic firearm).
All semiautomatic rifles and handguns that have a fixed magazine with the capacity to accept more than 10 rounds.
All semiautomatic shotguns that have a folding, telescoping, or detachable stock; pistol grip; fixed magazine with the capacity to accept more than 5 rounds; ability to accept a detachable magazine; forward grip; grenade launcher or rocket launcher; or shotgun with a revolving cylinder.
All ammunition feeding devices (magazines, strips, and drums) capable of accepting more than 10 rounds.
157 specifically named firearms.
You see, this outrageous bill would actually PUNISH lawful gun owners, instead of preventing crime!
Your fax is urgently needed to the United States Congress to make sure that gun confiscation does not become the “norm.”
U. S. Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) says, “All we are doing is extending the success of the Brady law.” He claimed the 1993 Brady Act that instituted federal background checks “by almost universal agreement, has been extremely successful without any infringement upon lawful ownership.” Baloney!!
Gun confiscation has already begun in the United States!
California Attorney General Kamala Harris says that California is the only state that tracks and disarms people with legally registered guns who have lost the right to own them. There are 20,000 gun owners in California who are no longer legal because they are under domestic violence restraining orders, deemed mentally unstable, or are convicted felons.
While none of the conditions that require such disarmament are evidence for a search warrant, agents must talk their way into a residence to look for weapons. Agents then take ALL the weapons in the house, even those who are not registered to the victim.
In one California case, the person who was disarmed was held involuntarily in a mental hospital as a result of a nurse who had exaggerated the magnitude of her condition. She, the “victim,” says that she and her husband are law-abiding citizens and both their guns were seized because of the hospital stay!
California’s Attorney General has written a letter to Vice-President Joe Biden recommending that California serve as a national model for gun confiscation!! Of course, parroting the Obama administration bullhorn and gun-grabbing agenda, Joe Biden pleads: WE WANT YOUR GUNS!
Senate Bill 150 must be defeated. Please fax every U.S. Congressman!
Here is how this precisely works. It begins with gun registration. Then it steps up to CONFISCATION of those who the government says should not own guns because of various conditions (very subjective!!). But then it moves to very possible abuse of that concept! And the everyday citizens, just like you, are then UNARMED!!
Let us remind you that in April of 2009, the Department of Homeland Security issued a report proposing that conservative, pro-life Christians who believe in the Second Amendment may be an extremist threat. If that is the case, we are truly entering into a POLICE STATE!
