It is happening. Connecticut is throwing the book at the State’s first victim of its draconian gun control laws. This appears to be the first actual prosecution since the state’s radical gun laws were signed into law in 2013.
Mark Huber, age 55, has been accused of illegal possession of a large magazine capable of holding more than 10 rounds of ammunition, illegal possession of an assault rifle, and interfering with police.
Back in September, police were called to the Huber household for a “disturbance.” While there, they ended up searching the property. They discovered an “illegal” semi-automatic rifle and a large magazine capable of holding more than 10 rounds of ammunition.
He never registered them with the state. So now, the prosecutor is throwing the book at him.
If we’ve said it once, we’ve said it a million times. Registration leads to confiscation, 100% of the time. Either confiscation using the registry as a guide or confiscation from those who don’t register their guns.
What is even more disturbing is that this is only the beginning. Right now, these types of tyrannical gun grabs are only possible in liberal states like New Jersey, Connecticut, New York, and California.
The scary thing is that Obama is about to announce an executive order that would make this type of confiscation possible nationwide!
Right now, the Firearm Owners Protection Act stops the government from keeping a registry of American gun owners. That is quite literally one of the only things stopping Obama, or any other President for that matter, from sending the police door-to-door to confiscate Americans’ guns.
They simply don’t know what doors to knock on.
But Obama has finished drafting an executive order that will create a de-facto national gun registry!
He wants the ATF to record every single time a gun is transferred.
Even though these records are supposed to be destroyed after a person passes a background check, Obama has already been breaking the law and saving the records of gun store transfers.
Now, he wants to expand that to private gun transfers. If a father gives his son a hunting rifle, Obama wants a record of it. If a man asks his neighbor to hold onto his guns while he takes the family on vacation, Obama wants a record of it.
What Obama is planning is illegal and unconstitutional. But what is even worse is the fact that this gun control executive order represents the largest and most despotic power-grab of the Obama Presidency.
Today, Obama is heading to San Bernardino to “speak with” the victims of this month’s terror attacks. Better late than never, I guess. But there are a lot of rumors that today will be the day that he reveals his new gun control executive order!

Over the past few days, Barack Obama and Valerie Jarrett have been meeting with gun control advocates. The latest meeting was with Michael Bloomberg, who has spent millions of dollars trying to disarm the American people.
Valerie Jarrett has admitted that these meetings are to discuss rolling out Obama’s new gun control executive order.
The fact of the matter is that we really don’t know when Obama will strike and move to register Americans’ firearms. But we cannot afford to wait and play defense.
