Last month, President Trump ordered the DOJ and FBI to immediately declassify the underlying documents behind the Obama administration's decision to start spying on the Trump campaign.
These are the initial surveillance warrants that the Obama administration used to convince a judge to authorize their surveillance of Donald Trump and his aides.
President Trump is the top classification authority in the United States. He has the authority to unilaterally classify or declassify whatever government documents he wants. On paper, no one else in government has the authority to overrule him.
Which is why this is so remarkable. The Deep State flat-out refused to comply with Pres. Trump's order. They refused to declassify the evidence and deferred the direction to the DOJ's Inspector General to decide whether Trump's directive is 'proper.'
The reason for their treason is simple. They know that if the American people learn about how the Trump-Russia investigation began -- with a uncorroborated Clinton campaign smear document -- the whole investigation would be shut down. The Deep State is on a mission to correct what the American people 'got wrong' in 2016 and remove Trump from office. That is why they're refusing to release the documents.
There is no other way to describe it: This is a coup d'etat.
The evidence proving the Deep State's conspiracy is now being blocked from release... by the Deep State conspirators themselves.
And the Democrats are laughing all the way to the bank. Top Democrats sent a letter to the both the Department of Justice and FBI last week ordering them to disregard President Trump's directive. The letter was signed by Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Adam Schiff, and Mark Warner.
"President Trump and the White House should not be given access to any sensitive law enforcement or national security information related to an ongoing federal investigation examining conduct by the President, his campaign, or his associates."
This is absolutely disgusting. For Democrats to order an Executive Branch agency to disregard the President is unprecedented. They ordered the DOJ to withhold national security information from the President. It's madness. But it is also unprecedented for the FBI and DOJ to listen to them...
Congress issued a lawful subpoena for these documents over a year ago. The Deep State simply refused to comply.
Now, the President of the United States, the nation's Chief Executive and top classification authority, has ordered them to be declassified and released. Once again, the Deep State ignored the order.
And now, for the first time, we have evidence that the top ranking Democrats are coordinating with the Deep State to cover up their crimes.
This is a coup d'etat. They think they're above the law; above the Constitution.
It is not a coincidence that the same officials refusing to comply with a Presidential order are the ones who "joked" about removing President Trump from office. Of course Rod Rosenstein is refusing to turn the documents over. He is one of the officials who signed off on the fraudulent surveillance applications so the Deep State could target the Trump campaign. Rosenstein is one of the officials who used the Clinton campaign's "dossier" to trick the Court into approving the surveillance warrant.
Conservatives in Congress are outraged. They are demanding that Paul Ryan stop protecting these Deep State criminals.
Seize these documents and start dragging the Deep State into Congress to answer for their crimes!
Donald Trump shouldn't have to get involved in this. He shouldn't have to order the DOJ and FBI to comply with Congressional subpoenas.
But the only reason he had to make this demand is because both Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell are terrified of actually having to hold the Deep State accountable. The only reason we're in this position is because the GOP leaders are cowards.
Rod Rosenstein literally defied both a lawful Congressional subpoena and a Presidential Order, and the GOP leadership is saying there's nothing they can do... They're lying.
Treason is unfolding right before our eyes. The top Democrats are egging it on and the Republican leadership refuses to do anything about it.
It is time to go to war against the Deep State! It is time to fight back!
