For months, FBI Director Comey has had resignation letters piling up on his desk. His agents and even some of his top-level deputies were furious over how he handled the Clinton investigation. He had been ignoring the letters, looking for an opportunity to right his wrongs.
That opportunity came when the FBI seized Anthony Weiner’s laptop. Weiner is Huma Abedin’s separated husband. Huma Abedin, as you know, is Hillary Clinton’s top aide.
The FBI discovered 650,000 emails on the jointly-owned laptop, including emails that were preliminarily determined to be “pertinent” to the closed-investigation into Clinton’s email server.
So, Comey was forced by his agents to re-open the investigation.
Hillary Clinton will be the first Presidential Candidate to enter Election Day as the suspect of an FBI criminal investigation. She is literally running for her life. She must be stopped.
Heaven forbid Hillary wins this election, her first act as President will be to shut down the criminal investigation against her.
She will be sworn in and within seconds, she will give Comey the stand-down order. The Clintons thought that they had accomplished this earlier in the summer. Bill Clinton met with Attorney General Loretta Lynch in secret aboard a private jet and within days, the FBI had closed the investigation.
What is perhaps more earthshattering is that AG Loretta Lynch actively tried to stop Comey from re-opening the Clinton investigation. She told him to stand down and he went forward with notifying Congress of the new evidence anyway.
Remember when three FBI field offices asked Lynch for permission to investigate the Clinton Foundation? She ordered them to stand-down as well.
We also learned yesterday that FIVE different FBI field offices have defied this stand-down order and are investigating the Clinton Foundation for alleged bribery and pay-to-play.
We, as a country, have never been in a position like this before. We have never had a Presidential candidate under investigation for violating the Espionage Act.
But most importantly, we have never been faced with the prospect of one administration interfering in a FBI investigation to protect their chosen predecessor.
The FBI discovered new evidence in the Clinton case and the administration told him to keep quiet because it was too close to the election.
As we speak, right now, the Obama administration is doing everything in its power to help Hillary Clinton run out the clock. They need to be taken out of the equation!
We are witnessing a concerted effort to stop the FBI from investigating the Clintons. The Obama administration ordered the FBI to stand down on the investigations into the Clinton Foundation and private email server.
Harry Reid and the Democrats – who praised Comey as recently as a few weeks ago – are now calling for his head and floating the insane theory that the Director of the FBI is working for the Russians… And in the midst of all of this, Loretta Lynch tried to spike the investigations.
The administration has to be taken out of the equation.
There is a reason that the depiction of “Lady Justice” has her wearing a blindfold. Justice doesn’t care about political party affiliation or name-recognition.
The Obama administration, on the other hand, is trying to lean on the scale to tilt the odds in their favor.
Don’t let them scuttle these new investigations!
