Illegal immigration, sanctuary cities, Planned Parenthood selling babies’ body parts… the list goes on and on of things Congress absolutely MUST address.
The Democrats have promised to do everything they can to keep sanctuary cities and Planned Parenthood funded with YOUR tax dollars.
For goodness sake, how many more innocent people need to die before we realize that our hard earned tax dollars are facilitating this? Now that you know, what are you going to do about it?
Millions of dollars are funneled into sanctuary cities in the form of ‘law enforcement grants,’ while these cities completely refuse to enforce the law. Half a BILLION dollars goes to Planned Parenthood for ‘women’s healthcare,’ but this butcher shop is literally taking unborn women, dismembering them, and selling the body parts for hundreds of dollars a piece.
This isn’t what this country stands for. Yet, instead of telling the American people what they will do to defund these horrible programs, Mitch McConnell and Boehner are too busy saying what they won’t do!
It’s really simple. There’s nothing negative about promising to shut down the government over this heinous spending.
Keeping a shut down on the table means that we’re willing to do whatever is necessary to get the job done. Keeping a shutdown on the table would mean that the GOP would stick to its convictions.
By taking a shutdown off the table, Boehner and McConnell are already caving before the fight has even started.
And make no mistake: a shutdown wouldn’t be our fault. If both chambers of Congress vote to defund sanctuary cities and Planned Parenthood, and then President Obama vetoes it, then the President owns the shutdown…
Do you see what is missing from this equation? Conviction.
We’ve endured Boehner and McConnell for far too long.
We were told in 2010 that if we only gave the GOP control of the House, everything would be better. So, we came out in force and took the House back from Nancy Pelosi. Has anything changed? No!
We were told in 2014 that if we only gave the GOP control of the Senate, everything would be better. So, we came out in force and took the Senate back from Harry Reid Has anything changed? No!
The common denominators are Boehner and McConnell. They are holding us back. And by taking a shutdown off the table before the fight has even begun, they are showing again that they do nothing but surrender to the Democrats.
Is this the leadership you want? Is this the leadership that the American people deserve?
