Elizabeth Vargas-Hernandez (shown above) is an illegal alien. She has no right to be here, whatsoever.
In 2015, she got into a car accident. When police in Indianapolis arrived, they realized that she was in the country illegally and did not have a valid driver’s license. Metro Police decided not to arrest Hernandez at the time, even though she was driving a car without any training whatsoever.
Fast forward to this week. This past Monday, she decided to drive intoxicated, without a license. Not only did she have no training on how to operate a motor vehicle, but she was driving drunk as well.
She rear-ended a car and sent it careening into a ditch. The driver she struck did not survive. Her victim was a former missionary.
I am telling you this to explain that there is no such thing as a “victimless” crime committed by an illegal alien. You can directly trace the leniency she received all the way to this case of drunk driving vehicular manslaughter. If she had been deported when she was originally charged in 2015, this man would still be alive.
Yesterday, I attended a press conference at a Denver church. Another illegal alien named Jeanette Vizguerra was seeking sanctuary in the church because she was slated for deportation. Her crime? She pled guilty to using forged identity papers. Her plea deal avoided a felony identity theft conviction.
I asked her the only conservative question of the press conference: What does she have to say to the people who point out that she is being deported because she pled guilty to a crime?
Her response? She broke the law to feed her family.
Republicans in Congress are eating it up. They have teamed up with Democrats and are demanding a vote on a bill to protect illegal aliens who commit crimes.
I am telling you these two stories today because there is a dangerous trend growing in this country: that illegal aliens should be allowed to commit crimes.
How many crimes does an illegal alien need to commit before being deported?
How many times should Elizabeth Vargas-Hernandez be allowed to drive without a license or drive drunk? How many times should illegal aliens like Jeanette Vizguerra be allowed to steal innocent people’s identities?
The answer is zero.
Democrats are using the Trump administration’s commitment to deport illegal alien criminals and pushing a piece of legislation that would shield them all from deportation.
The legislation is titled the “Bar Removal of Individuals who Dream and Grow our Economy Act.” (HR496/S128)
You see, the Democrats want to protect illegal aliens who drive without ever learning how to drive. They want to protect illegal aliens who steal Americans’ identities so they can illegally work in the country.
To the RINOs, all of these crimes are no big deal. They would gladly let Elizabeth Vargas-Hernandez drive a car without any knowledge of traffic laws if it means potentially winning additional votes.
If you think this amnesty legislation is just a stunt, think again. The House version was written by Republican Congressman Mike Coffman (CO) and the Senate version of the bill was introduced by Republican Senator Lindsey Graham (SC).
This is a Republican plan that would make Barack Obama’s amnesty programs permanent. It is the ultimate betrayal.
They think that they can get away with writing amnesty into the law without consequence. It is literally up to you to prove them wrong!
