Insurance premiums are rising. A hospital in southwestern Pennsylvania will no longer deliver babies after March 31st. Small businesses are laying off workers, cutting the hours of others and shifting jobs to China.
And now Obama has proclaimed that under his Affordable Healthcare Act, doctors should ask their patients if they have a gun in their home and offer safety tips to those who do. Welcome to the United States of America under the crushing intrusions of Obamacare.
The government takeover of healthcare means a loss of freedom for all Americans and comes with a fiscal price tag well over the $1.15 trillion alone it will add to federal spending. A large enough percentage of Americans disagree with Obamacare to the point that we could influence Members of Congress to stop it and fight for ultimate repeal. They may believe we have forgotten about it, so let’s remind them that we are well aware of its consequences.
It is almost criminal to ignore the many consequences of this disaster.
Obamacare is killing jobs, raising taxes, destroying choice and limiting freedom. We need to repeal it, now. Even Democrats who overwhelmingly supported it are beginning to change their minds. In the coming months and years you are likely to see similar “oops” moments occur again and again, as more government will be necessary to fix whatever this piece or that piece of Obamacare broke.

But, as we suspected, it is not just the expense of Obamacare or the overbearing government regulations, we will have to wade through. As we are seeing with gun control, Obama can easily use the thousands of pages of Obamacare to push through his agenda on a variety of issues and gain more control over the American people, leaving our personal freedoms in the wake. Your insurance costs are going to rise as you have less access to quality care. And then, when you finally do get in to see your doctor, you may find yourself discussing your Second Amendment rights while on the examination table. What else will Obama decree that doctors should be discussing with patients? Taxes? The size of government? Free speech rights?
The umbrella of Obamacare is beginning to open up and threatens to swallow us all. Thousands of new IRS agents have been added to make sure we comply with purchasing insurance.
Obamacare will:
Impose more than 20 new taxes …
Add more than a TRILLION dollars to our deficit in 10 years …
Limit our options when it comes to care …
Send insurance premiums soaring …
Invade our privacy …
End free choice…
It is a nightmare. Remind Congress that you do not want it. It must be stalled, defunded, and repealed.
