Today, John Kerry is laying out the “path forward” for peace between the Israelis and the Palestinians. This is a peace that the Obama administration will try to impose on the Israel between now and when Trump takes office.
John Kerry has been Secretary of State for more than three years. You would think that he would have found the time to lay out his Middle East peace plan then. But no, he is outlining the official position of the United States Government just 3 weeks before he is kicked out of office.
John Kerry’s speech today is the ultimate arrogance. He feels the power slipping away from him and can’t help but try to impose his and Obama’s agenda on the world before leaving.
The French have convened a Middle East peace conference for January 15th, just 5 days before Trump takes office. Standing alongside the French Foreign Minister will be the Palestinians’ counterpart. Israel has announced they will boycott the conference.
The Obama administration’s plan is clear. Kerry outlines the administration’s “goal” today and then 5 days before Trump takes office, they will try to ram a permanent peace agreement through the United Nations.
There is only one way to stop this and that is to completely defund the United Nations!
Last week, the Obama administration was influential in getting a resolution against Israel passed in the UN Security Council. While the US technically abstained during the formal vote, the Obama administration was working behind the scenes to whip up the votes.
Joe Biden personally called Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko to convince him to vote against Israel. Poroshenko is, himself, Jewish and has long been an ally of Israel. Whatever the Obama administration did, they convinced a Ukrainian Jew to vote for the anti-Israel resolution…
There has also been a leaked transcript suggesting that Obama administration officials met directly with the Palestinians to discuss pushing the UN resolution through.
What you are witnessing right now is what happens when an administration is completely blindsided by election results. Obama thought that Hillary would give his legacy an additional 4-8 years. Instead, Trump is poised to undo most of Barack Obama’s accomplishments.
That is why they are pushing so hard to impose "peace" on Israel. This is the Democrats’ last chance. Obama is watching the legacy he built for himself crumble around him.
Pushing this next resolution through the UN Security Council would help Obama build a lasting monument to himself.
It is our job, right now, to start tearing that monument down!
Congress is surprisingly uniting around this issue. Even some Democrats are astonished that the Obama administration would go this far in its final days in office.
The effort to defund the United Nations has even united Ted Cruz and Lindsey Graham. In case you forgot, Lindsey Graham is the one who joked about shooting Ted Cruz on the Senate floor and being able to get away with it…
This mission to withdraw US funding from the UN is seriously moving forward in Congress, with a bill already drafted to pull the funding. But they need your help to get it passed!
We have never been closer to pulling the plug on the United Nations. Now is the time to finish this!
