This week, the Senate Rules Committee will debate and vote on H.R. 1, the Democrats' radical bill to rewrite election laws in all 50 states to make it easier for leftists to steal elections.
The Senate version of the so-called "For the People Act" is called Senate Bill 1. This is because it is the Democrat Party's top legislative priority.
Right now, Democrats are working on amendments to the House version, but don't get your hopes up. The amendments are simply to change deadlines for states to adopt Democrat-sponsored election laws... All of the other radical provisions would stay the same.
Why are Senate Democrats even bothering to add amendments? The lone Senate holdout is Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV). However, his refusal was conditional.
When Manchin was asked last month whether he would vote for H.R. 1/S. 1, Manchin responded "no...as it exists today." He finished by saying, though, that "I hope it doesn't come to that."
Democrats are hoping that these modest changes will be enough to get Manchin on board so they can bypass the filibuster and force this monstrosity onto the American people!
This bill is really, really bad. To summarize, here are five of the WORST parts of the bill.
1. H.R. 1 and S.1 would make it illegal for states to remove dead people and inactive voters from the voter rolls. This would allow Democrat operatives to cast fraudulent votes on their behalf.
2. The bills would force states to accept fraudulent same-day voter registration. We see this happen a lot in New Hampshire. People come over from Massachusetts and register same-day to vote in the more competitive NH races. The law would also require states to adopt automatic and online voter registration.
3. They would outlaw Voter ID. States would no longer be allowed to require Voter ID when people apply for an absentee ballot. Meaning, anyone who wants to circumvent their state's Voter ID law would simply be able to vote by mail and never have to prove that they are who they say they are.
4. States would be required to conduct 100% vote-by-mail elections whenever there is an infectious disease or natural disaster around election time. Considering that Election Day falls inside of both Flu and Hurricane Seasons, this would give the government the power to force swing states to vote by mail.
5. Most disgustingly, the bill would allow states to receive mail-in ballots for up to 10 days after election day. In other words, if all of these other fraud efforts don't steal elections for Democrats, they can spend 10 days after the polls close waiting for more ballots to arrive...
If Democrats are able to force this on all 50 states, the Republic is lost. They will just keep stealing and stealing...
Time is not on the Left's side, though. We are now just 9 months and 20 days away from the First primary of the 2022 election cycle (Texas). Democrats know that if they are going to have any hope of stealing the 2022 election to maintain control of power, they need to force states to change their election laws NOW.
That is why the Senate Rules Committee is marking-up and voting on the bill this week and that is why it is so important to STOP this election fraud bill from passing!
Usually, it wouldn't matter if Democrats got Joe Manchin onboard because it takes 60 votes (not 50) to pass legislation in the Senate.
However, last month, the Senate Parliamentarian announced that she had 'reinterpreted' the rules. Typically, Congress can pass one tax and spend bill a year without needing to hit the 60-vote threshold in the Senate. Well, Elizabeth MacDonough has reinterpreted the law and says Congress can pass a 2nd bill this year by bypassing the filibuster...
Democrats immediately declared that H.R. 1 was their bill...
If Manchin falls, then the Democrats will have the votes to bypass the filibuster to force this evil bill onto the country.
You CANNOT let that happen!
If you care about this Republic... if you want to stop the Left from stealing elections... Then you MUST fight back now!
Stop them before it's too late!
