At the 1992 Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro, Secretary General Maurice Strong announced, “...current lifestyles and consumption patterns of the affluent middle class ‐ involving high meat intake, use of fossil fuels, appliances, home and work air conditioning, and suburban housing are not sustainable.” And years later, Barack Obama supported that statement by warning us all that global warming was an emergency and, "We can't drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times ... and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK."

This “urgent” sustainability program and mindset is known as Agenda 21, and since its inception way back in 1992, has been invading your cities and towns.

The United Nations has already interfered in our elections, they are working to end our Second Amendment rights with their Small Arms Treaty, and they are pressuring States to overturn laws legalizing marijuana. In short, U.N. bureaucrats are very much a part of our country and the way it is being run. For years, they have been working to implement harsh socioeconomic controls over the United States, and these controls are being rolled out right now.  Become aware of these controls and refuse to accept any plan that is attached to the U.N.’s Agenda 21 international program.

The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) "Population Matters for Sustainable Development" June 2012 report bemoans the fact that, “Human activity has already affected every country, every species and every eco-system of the plant. We have even altered the world's climate.”

We’ve affected the climate so much; they want us to change how we live. But what is interesting is how Agenda 21 has changed over the years, and how they have changed its mission and the names associated with it in order to keep us comfortable with it.

For instance, we are supposed to be doing this to save the planet, but the Rio de Janeiro conference took place many years before the United Nations’ IPCC released their damning report on climate change—which, subsequently, has been debunked by over 20,000 reputable scientists.

And what was originally “Agenda 21” has been called “sustainability” or “smart growth”, “biodiversity” and now, most recently, “future earth.” Whatever they call it, it is an intrusion by global bureaucrats and climate alarmists into your freedom.

Go do some research on it; you will find it is not conservative hype, nor is it a conspiracy theory, as the U.N. sympathizers would have you believe. Follow the money. It’s not a coincidence that when Barack Obama bypassed Congress with his cap and trade regulations, he said that under his plan, “energy rates would necessarily skyrocket.”

And who will benefit from it? Interestingly enough, Obama’s good buddy George Soros is behind the International Council of Local Environmental Initiatives (ICLEI), which is in charge of local Agenda 21 activity.

The United Nations believes there will be no social justice until people in every part of the world have access to wealth redistribution, mostly courtesy of the United States. That means your prosperity is going to have to be limited and redistributed. And youth must be educated.

Enter Agenda 21 and its goals of  “sustainability,” and you will soon find that everything about how you live, eat and work will change. Executive Order #12858 created the President’s Council on Sustainable Development so the U.S. could start lining up environmental policy with Agenda 21 directives. Right now, its provisions are probably embedded within your city, county and state ordinances, and you may not even be aware of it.

 It includes:

  • High-density housing scams

  • Traffic congestion

  • Open space where access is not allowed

  • Government “partnering” with favored private businesses and non-profit agencies, using your tax money

  • Managed control over your life

  • Mismanagement of public utilities

  • Prohibitions on natural resource management leading to increased fire hazards, lack of water, and private property restrictions,

  • Increased taxes, fees, regulations and restrictions

Our freedoms are not for sale to the U.N. Get to the bottom of this now and kick the U.N. out of America. Fax Congress and insist they defend our personal property rights and freedom! Congress needs to help us work at the state and federal level to block regulations meant to stifle and control American citizens and our way of life.
