As soon as Dianne Feinstein introduced her latest gun ban bill, we warned that there were going to be plenty of Republican traitors and cowards who were going to join her.

We were right.

The House version of Feinstein's gun ban bill was introduced by Republican Congressman Carlos Curbelo (FL). He now has at least nine other Republican Congressmen supporting his bill, bringing the total betrayal so far to ten.

They are Peter King (NY), Leonard Lance (NJ), Patrick Meehan (PA), Ed Royce (CA), Chris Smith (NJ), Erik Paulsen (PA), Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (FL), and Charlie Dent (PA).

These ten do not include the other Republicans - including Paul Ryan - who have privately admitted they will be supporting Dianne Feinstein's gun ban legislation. This is in the House, mind you, not even the Senate. The Senate is even worse.

This gun ban bill has enough Republican-support to pass. Not everyone who supports it is doing so publicly. But if this bill reaches the floor - which Paul Ryan has admitted he wants - it will pass.

If we're going to kill this legislation, it has to be now!

No more surrenders! Send your message to Congress and DEMAND that they either end latest gun ban bill or you will end their political careers!

In the 1990s, Dianne Feinstein got her "assault weapon ban" passed. While she banned a few dozen guns by name, most of the guns were banned because of the accessories they had attached to them. These were accessories like pistol grips, bayonet lugs, and adjustable stocks.

She didn't go after these accessories because they actually make guns more dangerous, even though she made that claim. She targeted them because most guns had them and it helped her ban thousands of guns without having to list each by name.

Now, she is back and using the Las Vegas shooting as an excuse to push another gun ban. While she wants you to believe this is about "bump stocks" -- which you probably didn't even know existed two weeks ago -- she is also going after hundreds of other gun accessories.

"It shall be unlawful for any person to import, sell, manufacture, transfer, or possess, in or affecting interstate or foreign commerce, a trigger crank, a bump-fire device, or any part, combination of parts, component, device, attachment, or accessory that is designed or functions to accellerate the rate of fire of a semi-automatic rifle but not convert the semi-automatic rifle into a machine gun." (emphasis added)

This is nothing but an assault weapon ban hidden behind stoking the public's fear of bump stocks. When Democrats passed the original assault weapon ban in 1994, they argued that pistol grips and adjustable stocks were dangerous because they helped someone shoot a rifle faster. But today, instead of going after the accessories by name, they are trying to ban any gun accessory that the ATF determines would help a gun shoot faster.

This is an assault weapon ban, plain and simple, and we now know that there are a lot of Republicans in both the House and Senate who are ready to vote away your 2nd Amendment rights.

Send your message to Congress and FORCE them to kill this latest gun ban legislation before it is too late!

At first, we thought these Republicans were cowards. Surely, they would have to be in order to abandon all of their principles to get behind Feinstein's latest gun ban. But the more we learn, the clearer it is: their support for the 2nd Amendment was always conditional.

So, it is our job to put the fear back into them; to make them understand that voting for this heinous gun ban would be political suicide. That is the only language they understand.

I am writing to you today because you are a stalwart defender of this Republic. When the Constitution is under threat, you answer the call and fight back.

Well, today is one of those days...

Please, stand up and protect the 2nd Amendment before it's too late. Tell Congress right here and right now that if they vote for Feinstein's gun ban, they will be removed from office!

Don't just sit back and let them win,

Joe Otto
