Demand Lloyd Austin's Removal! If You Can't Hold Your Office, You Need To Leave!
Last week, news surfaced reporting that Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin was admitted to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center following complications from an "elective procedure" on New Year's Day, according to a statement from the Pentagon. For several days, Joe Biden was unaware of Austin's leave. In a time of war, Austin should have followed proper protocols to accommodate for his leave. Instead, he delegated his responsibilities to the chain of command and failed to communicate his health status when issues arose. Congress needs to demand Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin's immediate removal for improper professional conduct and dereliction of duty, especially in a crucial position during times of conflict where proper communication is imperative.
In a time of war, the responsibilities of the Secretary of Defense are critical and demand strict adherence to proper protocols, effective communication, and unwavering diligence. Regrettably, Secretary Austin failed on all fronts. His decision to delegate responsibilities to the chain of command without timely communication represents a blatant dereliction of duty, putting the efficiency and effectiveness of our nation's defense operations at risk.
Tom Cotton aptly summarized the vital role of the Secretary of Defense, stating, "The secretary of defense is the key link in the chain of command between the president and the uniformed military, including the nuclear chain of command when weighty decisions must be made in minutes." In essence, this role cannot be abandoned without notice. Austin's failure constitutes a complete dereliction of duty, and he, having demonstrated his inability to properly hold this position, should be removed from his post.
Despite public dissent, the United States is currently engaged in multiple conflicts, notably the wars in Ukraine and Israel. Our top generals must be consistently available, capable of working, and on the job at all times.
President Trump succinctly expressed his perspective on Truth, stating, "Failed Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin should be fired immediately for improper professional conduct and dereliction of duty. He has been missing for one week, and nobody, including his boss, Crooked Joe Biden, had a clue as to where he was, or might be. He has performed poorly and should have been dismissed long ago, along with 'General' Mark Milley, for many reasons, but especially for the catastrophic surrender in Afghanistan, perhaps the most embarrassing moment in the history of our country!"
Congress must heed the people's sentiments on this matter. Lloyd Austin has engaged in improper and unprofessional conduct, unfitting of his position. He has also committed a dereliction of duty, among other failings as Secretary of Defense, such as his woke military agenda. Lloyd Austin must be removed from his post, and Congress should call for his immediate dismissal.
