Joe Biden has presided over more American pain and suffering than any other modern President. Inflation continues to rise out of control, leading to the sharpest cost of living increases Americans have seen in generations. The past year has brought the biggest erosion of liberty this continent has ever seen, with Joe Biden encouraging government bureaucrats to go even further.
And yet, Joe Biden began his State of the Union Address by discussing the pain and suffering of people almost 5,000 miles away in Ukraine. Don't get me wrong: What is happening to the Ukrainian people is terrible. But the speech was supposed to focus on the state of OUR union.
Usually, after a State of the Union Address, Congress gets to work debating the bills that the President laid out to benefit the American people. But instead, Congress began debating a huge, 6 billion aid package to Ukraine.
Just to put that into perspective, we send a little more than 3 billion to the United Nations every year. This bill they're now pushing would give nearly twice that amount to Ukraine alone.
This is not a Democrat proposal, by the way. Lindsey Graham and the other GOP "leaders" are the ones pushing this. Remember, Lindsey Graham couldn't be bothered to show up to vote for the amendment to repeal all of Biden's unconstitutional vaccine mandates. But he is working overtime to make sure billions of American taxdol lars get funneled overseas...
But it actually gets much, much worse. The GOP bill is 6 billion, but Biden and the Democrats are now demanding that it be increased to 32.5 billion!
Biden's 32.5 billion demand would send about a third of that to Ukraine and then use the rest on... wait for it... Covid-19.
Congress has appropriated trillions for Covid-19 over the past two years and hundreds of billions of that funding hasn't even been spent yet. But Biden and the Left are demanding even more...
Americans aren't struggling because there isn't enough "Covid spending" in the Federal budget. None of the funding in this "emergency" spending bill would do anything to help Americans. It is yet another money grab...
I feel for the Ukrainian people, I really do. But I cannot imagine how these politicians can swear an oath to represent their constituents' interests first and foremost, see how much pain and suffering is taking place in America, and then choose to prioritize a new foreign aid package... This is beyond disgusting...
And yet, this is their "priority" coming out of Biden's State of the Union address. They believe that things in America are going so swimmingly-well, that now is the perfect time to increase our foreign aid programs and waste more money on a virus with a 99.98% survival rate.
Here's the thing: They are counting on YOU to let them get away with this. They are counting on you to be too busy and preoccupied to stop them.
But now that you know what is going on... Now that you know what they're trying to slip through... You MUST stop them!
