I am writing today because I am extremely concerned about the ongoing weaponization of the federal government against certain American citizens.
According to reporting from Just the News, there are deeply troubling disparities in the official record about military vaccine mandates. A report from th eDepartment of Defense Inspector General reportedly contradicts the under oath testimony of Erik Raven, Undersecretary and Chief Operating Officer and Chief Management Officer of the Navy. And they can’t both be telling the truth.
The Inspector General report said the Navy was violating the Religious Freedom Restoration Act, according to Representative Matt Gaetz (R-FL). But at a hearing before the Military Personnel Subcommittee of the House Armed Services Committee, Raven provided a different answer when asked by Gates: “Did the Navy send out form letters in response to people’s requests for religious exemptions” from the vaccine mandate.
Raven answered, “The process we followed there was individualized review at multiple levels.”
“You believe there was individualized review?” Gaetz asked.
“Yes sir,” Raven said.
Gaetz then referred to the DOD-IG report that claims the religious exemption requests weren’t individually reviewed but that the average amount of time each was considered was 12 minutes. Further, the DOD-IG report found “a trend of generalized assessments rather than the individualized assessment that is required by federal law and DoD and Military Service policies,” according to Just the News’ report.
Biden Administration officials lying under oath is so common that exposure happens almost daily. In a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on the Weaponization of the Department of Justice Wednesday, Attorney General Merrick Garland was called out by Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) for lying under oath about the decision making that led to the unprecedented raid of President Donald J. Trump in August of last year.
According to a Washington Post report earlier this week, Garland overruled agents on the ground, a contradiction to his prior testimony.
Then, Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) called out Garland for lying about the DOJ’s failure to prosecute the “protesters” that threatened and attacked US Supreme Court Justices over the Roe v. Wade decision last summer.
It is your responsibility to provide a check and balance on the Executive Branch, and the Executive Branch is out of control. Will there be any consequences for Senior Administration Officials lying under oath?
Are there ever any consequences for the crimes and overreaches of the government?
Remember your oath.
