The Democrats are trembling. They tried to trap the President with their bogus "counter-memo." They deliberately added classified information in the hope of forcing Trump to redact it. Instead of falling into their trap, he sent it back to them and told them to try again.
They are desperate to refute what we have learned: that the Obama administration used the Clinton campaign's bogus opposition research to get a surveillance warrant against the Trump campaign.
This is extremely criminal and truly as bad as we thought. Disgraced Deputy Director Andrew McCabe testified under oath to Congress that they wouldn't have been able to launch their Russia probe without the Clinton-funded dossier and we know that FBI and DOJ officials lied to the court to get these surveillance warrants.
It is time for heads to roll.
These corrupt deep state agents can't run for the door fast enough. Since all of this started breaking, there have been TEN high ranking DOJ and FBI officials to resign, be fired, or demoted because of their crimes.
Giving them a slap on the wrist isn't good enough and thank goodness, Congressmen are starting to agree. Representative Paul Gosar (R-AZ) is leading the charge and demanding that these deep state criminals answer for their crimes!
Gosar isn't pulling any punches. After the Nunes memo was released, he declared that it proved "clear and convincing evidence of treason" in the Obama administration, specifically the FBI and DOJ.
Yes, he is calling for these deep state agents to face a treason investigation. That is what happens when you catch government officials abusing their power to collude against a Presidential candidate.
There have been 10 corrupt FBI/DOJ officials who have been reprimanded so far, either by being fired, forced out, or demoted. They include James Comey (fired), Peter Strzok (demoted), Lisa Page (demoted), Andrew McCabe (forced out), Sally Yates (fired), and Comey's former Chief of Staff James Rybicki (forced out). All of these people had their hands in the plot to spy on the Trump campaign.
They were given nothing but a slap on the wrist. Andrew McCabe, who hosted these conspirators in his office, was allowed to retire with full benefits.
These criminals should be in handcuffs, not relaxing at home with their full pensions. And that is exactly what Rep. Gosar is calling for.
"The full-throated adoption of this illegal misconduct and abuse of FISA by James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Sally Yates, and Rod Rosenstein is not just criminal but constitutes treason," Gosar said.
These people knew that the dossier was false and bought and paid for by the Clinton campaign and the DNC. They knew that Christopher Steele was a NeverTrumper and devoted to stopping Trump at all costs. The FBI fired Steele as a source because he was no longer reliable.
Yet, these criminal bureaucrats covered up ALL of that and presented the dossier to the secret FISA court in order to get a warrant to put surveillance on the Trump campaign.
Firing them, allowing them to retire, or reassigning them to work in the HR division isn't a punishment. Not when their crimes were treasonous...
The Department of Justice already knows all of this. They've known about these crimes for months, if not over a year. And yet, they refuse to act. Why? Because the DOJ lawyers responsible for punishing this treason are the ones implicated in it!
The criminal referral will go right to Rod Rosenstein, who is also named in the memo. Rosenstein is the one who approved one of the FISA warrants against Trump advisor Carter Page. He recommended Trump fire James Comey and then authorized Robert Mueller to go after Trump... for firing James Comey.
Of course the Deep State cannot be trusted to investigate its own crimes... Only Congress can finish this!
