The United Nations has just issued a new demand to the Trump administration, demanding access to immigration detention facilities to ensure that Border Patrol and ICE are "respecting" illegal aliens' rights.
The border is being overrun by illegal aliens who, after being coached by organizations like the UN, are filing fraudulent asylum claims. They know that it will take months, if not years, before an immigration judge hears their cases. And even if they are denied asylum, they will have plenty of time to disappear into society.
President Trump is trying to put a stop to this by requiring migrants to wait in Mexico until their asylum cases are heard. That way, they can't disappear while waiting for their hearing. Already, we are seeing that practically all of these asylum claims are being rejected.
The United Nations is demanding that Trump re-open the border to allow these illegal aliens into the US and allow UN officials into detention facilities to "inspect" how the administration is detaining illegals.
The United Nations wants to put their inspectors onto US soil!
Another migrant teenager tragically died this month while in ICE custody this month. He was diagnosed by doctors with a bad case of the flu and given anti-virals. However, his immune system was too compromised and he passed away the following day.
While this is certainly tragic, it is also predictable. Illegal aliens are walking hundreds of miles because they know they can take advantage of our immigration loopholes and force their way into the country. The CDC is on the scene at the border desperately trying to stop these migrants and caravans from bringing deadly diseases into the US.
What is shameful is how the United Nations is trying to use this tragedy to force their way back onto US soil.
During the Obama administration, UN officials were regularly allowed to inspect and monitor Border Patrol. Obama had signed onto the UN Migration Pact and the White House actually worked with UN officials to fly illegal aliens into the US so they wouldn't have to make the dangerous journey through Central America.
Trump shut those programs down and kicked the UN officials out. Now, the United Nations is back and demanding immediate access to Border Patrol facilities. The UN is claiming that America is violating international law by refusing to let all of these illegal aliens in. It's just insane...
The UN is trying to have the Trump administration blocked from detaining any illegal aliens who are traveling with children. With the majority of border crossers being unaccompanied minors and family units, that means practically all of them would be let into the country!
Both the Democrats and Republicans think they can get away with sneaking new UN funding into the next round of spending bills. That includes a massive increase in funding for the radicals in the UN Human Rights Council. They think they can get away with this because they think you aren't paying attention.
Now you know exactly what they're doing. The first votes on spending bills are scheduled for next week. The questions is, are you going to stop it, or let them push it through?
Every time that we have given funding to the United Nations, they have used it to attack our sovereignty. Every. Single. Time.
Now, the United Nations wants to force the Trump administration to restore catch and release at the southern border. And they want to do it with YOUR taxdol.lars!
You CANNOT let this happen!
